bad staff. So rude

One of the better optometrists in town! Everyone was super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. It's my first time trying on and getting contact lens, and I was a bit nervous, but the Eyestar staff were so friendly and nice, and I got the job done. Anthony was the absolutely best! He took the time to measure my eye, and he very patiently walked me through every step on how to put on the lens. Despite me taking forever to finally put it on, I don't feel rushed at all. He also went through all the details on contact lens maintenance and all sorts of tips and tricks with me. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would 100% recommend them to everyone!

I came to this shop a couple days ago looking for a new pair of sunglasses, however, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted by anyone, in fact, I felt very uncomfortable in the environment as the staff didn't seem friendly at all. Finally after a looking around, I decided to ask for some help with trying on a frame, an older lady came to help me named Tienna. She talked to me with a very demeanour tone, like I owe her a great deal of debt or something. When we figured out the frame that I liked, I asked for a quote, and when I was thinking about it, she kept saying things to try to force me to buy, and gave me a if you're not going to buy, then get out attitude. After enduring all this, I decided to leave the store and swore to myself to never return. I really hope she's not the manger as that would be terrible brand representation as I see that there are so many locations for Eyestar. I ended up taking my business to CU Vision at Metrotown who despite being $65 more expensive, treated me with lots of respect and kindness, which is something that I hope everyone can experience when they are shopping.

The worst service I have ever had. Not willing to make a return, request long time waiting! Charge 5% of your bill for transaction fee, if you want to make a return. Not recommended for everybody come to have the horrible service!

Horrible experience. Old Chinese lady working there is impatient and rude. I was even paid my sunglasses, it is over $400 after a huge discount so I have to make sure I have the product certificate or serial number to make sure it is a real product. She couldn't approve it and I don't know why literally she was very mad at me. She was yelling at her colleague why gave me the money back in front of other customers. Definitely not recommend. 👎
