By far the best place to buy glasses! I drive there from Burlington. He has the most unique frames and is so knowledgeable. The service is the best hands down because Terry cares about his clients and what they are looking for.

I pre-paid for my glass over 4 months ago now, because Terry was someone I've trusted over the years. Now they have closed the business, and my money and glasses are gone! After more years than I can recall of purchasing glasses from Terry for myself and my family, the business has closed and they are not responding to calls or messages, and there is no new or location or contact information mentioned anywhere. I'm so disappointed!! I thought this business and its owner were above this type of disreputable conduct. Not sure which feels worst, the broken trust or the loss of my money and glasses!

Beware, he is a big scam. My wife ordered for glasses and paid in full. He then closed his shop permanently without informing and stopped picking our calls. We never got our glasses. I dont know what other activities he does in the cover of the optical store. Edit: This fraud has still not given our contact glasses nor has given any refund yet. He doesn't pick up our call as well. We are going to take a legal route now. BEWARE, don't buy anything from him.

Great service, They were warm welcoming, received my glasses earlier that expected,Received a good quality case, A cloth and cleaning fluid. For them being strangers to me they treated me like family and gave me great service and helped pick out my glasses. Definitely not the last time I will buy something from Planet Optical. I will suggest this company for people looking for good quality glasses and contact lenses.

This is probably the most unique and best optical store in the GTA hands done... And I'll tell you exactly why. A few months ago, I was looking for a particular high end frame brand made in Germany by a small privately owned company and not by Luxottica (ughhhh!). Planet Optical popped in. I drove to downtown Mississauga and I had the privilege of meeting Terry, the owner in person that first day. Terry is not your usual average optician just there to sell volume and maximize margin. He is an encyclopedia of everything optical. He knows this stuff in depth and he is very passionate about it. I ordered a couple of good quality frames and prescription lenses. Terry spent a lot of time explaining to me the choices and subtle differences between the various lens manufacturers and models. I can tell you I learned a lot during the process and I will never buy glasses the same way I used to again (Just go to Hakim or Lens Crafters and try to get the best deal). If you want the best quality that will meet your exact personality (trust me Terry looks at that too!) and needs, go to Terry at Planet Optical. He is also a man with a big heart and he always puts the customer first. I have had to change frames and lenses a couple of times with no issues. You will pay a little bit more here, but what you get in quality, advice and great customer service is invaluable!
