I would give this place zero stars if I could. Not only was the doctor (and mostly the optician) rude to my 8 year old brother, but they accused him of lying about seeing double. We changed locations and needless to say, he wasn't lying about it. The doctor and optician pushed me to get a coating on my glasses that cost an extra $70 because I "needed" it and told me I needed trifocals but I needed to pay extra for the ones without the line because they transition better. After transferring to the Woodman location (where the staff is absolutely AMAZING by the way), I found out that I don't need trifocals (so I paid extra for no reason), I didn't have to get that $70 coating, and they gave me too strong of a prescription in both lenses. At one point my glasses broke (they fell out of my bag) and when I went to order a new pair the optician told me that I better feel lucky I go there because no one else would give me another pair with how "irresponsible" I am. Keep in mind I have never broken or lost my glasses before after 7+ years of me wearing glasses (but even if I did she had no reason to be that rude to me), and I wasn't getting these glasses for free. I had to pay for them again which isn't a big deal but I was mad because of the comment she had made to me. She also has no right to talk to me the way she did. The optician is rude, condescending, and needs to be fired. My family and I are a group of easy going people, but enough is enough. I will NEVER go back there and have HAPPILY changed to the woodman location.

Well, I thought that was me but reviews are saying that other people did not like it as well. Ok. The optometrist was nice, that is it what I liked. The receptionist was not polite at all, they were insisting that I had to pay for contacts while my insurance is covering it. Got contacts for free in another place with no additional questions and happy with it. Will get new glasses in another place. Good luck guys with your business :-)

HORRIBLE STORE!!! Rude staff...they talk down to you as if you're an idiot. My son was complaining that he kept seeing double and doctor told him that he was lying. I went to location on Woodman and *gasp* my son wasn't lying. Also, the staff was awesome! If you want a quack doctor with an attitude, feel free to go to the Sugarcreek location...if you want great staff and a caring doctor who knows what she is doing, go to the Woodman location.

I'd had wonderful experiences in the past at this store. Now they have a new optician. She talked me into upgrading my lenses to a new material (which cost $100 more than previously) and when the lenses came back, I told her I couldn't see as well out of them, and she blew me off, saying my eyes would adjust. Well, they didn't, and when I had my opthamologist's office read the lenses, the bifocal in both lenses was wrong. It was supposed to be 2.5 but in one lens it read at 1.5! The other was lower than prescribed also. I also notice an attitude problem with the optician. Another time I went back during store hours and she told me "You're lucky to catch us here." It was a good 30 minutes or more until their posted closing time. I strongly recommend not going to this place now.
