I popped in to have a look at the lovely unusual frames they make & stock, ended up buying! They aren't as cheap as high street chains but they are different. I could not have received better service, the staff are lovely & pay a lot of attention to detail. Any enjoyable experience.

I recently purchased a pair of retro, NHS inspired tortoiseshell spectacles from Opera Opera. From the moment I made an appointment to when I received my spectacles I had the most caring, professional and kind service imaginable. The staff at Opera Opera love what they do and they get great pleasure from making sure you find just the right spectacles for your face, colouring, style and image. I mentioned that I hoped to have the spectacles ready for my daughter's wedding in three weeks' time but I was gently told that the bespoke service took time and that my spectacles wouldn't be read for about 10 weeks. Imagine my delight when I received an email two weeks later to say my spectacles were ready for collection. I phoned to say I was by chance in London and could I pop in right now? This was no problem and I was seen immediately. I said wow, I wasn't expecting my spectacles to be ready so soon and I was told that when I left Opera Opera after my initial appointment they had taken the trouble to phone the technician and hurry through my order. Isn't that the most delightful and caring service?

I've 4 four pairs of Opera Opera glasses, the first being acquired in 2008. There are expensive, but very robust and, in my opinion, very good value. The best thing I like about them is the uniqueness - I have yet to find another supplier that has such a wide range of choice. The cases could be better (larger and have linings that don't separate from the case). It would be great if the shop was in Sheffield, where I live, rather than London! It you want very well made and distinctive glasses, I highly recommend Opera Opera.

I would highly recommend Opera Opera. Their staff provide an excellent, friendly and helpful service. They are respectful of giving customers time to browse at their leisure and be there to help out on deciding what spectacles are right for them. They also have a great variety of spectacles to choose from with many different shapes and sizes. Its also refreshing to know that their frames are handmade in London, England at their factory and offer an excellent bespoke service.

A quirky glasses shop with hundreds of vintage styles. They can create bespoke frames so if you like a pair but you aren't sure of the colour then they can change them. The service really is great and all the staff are so helpful. I would highly recommend!
