I have ordered frames at ace and tate for my sister, while at store with they the staff were helpful and the lady doing the eye test was really friendly and so was the man who helped us choose the frames. We got emails saying the order would be with us within 14-16 working days. and after this time we still did not get an email asking us to collect it. I called up your help line to ask if they reached about 20 days after the order was placed, they said they would email me if the store had them. I did not get further communication for a day or two, so I went into the store physically and the frames were there ... Loved the frames and was happy with them. So I decided that if my sister was happy with the product I would also purchase one for myself there and then. Asked staff to guide me what would look good for my prescription and they were inattentive and quite busy chatting with themselves near the circular reception area, as they were not attending to other customers either, they would answer questions briefly and go back to talking. So I decided to just leave and get my pair of frames elsewhere as there are plenty of opticians in the area. I just feel that if the staff already knows that someone has been a customer there before, and is outright asking to buy another frame that same day, they should have been assisted a little more. Lovely frames, great price, and great initial experience. However the level of staff training is not equal, some are amazing and others are negligent. I understand that the email issue was a technical fault.

Recently needed to get some new glasses and found this brand on social media. When I visited the store to pick out my frames, I was impressed with the aesthetic of the store and layout was nice and clean. When I went to pick-up my frames, the lady was very welcoming and very upbeat, which was great! I am happy with my frames, and will definitely be purchasing my future glasses from here! :)

The customer services was so bad in the London store. Both my partner and I both being a repeat customer in ace & Tate, pretty much since it started out, I visited ace & Tate in Amsterdam where the service was incredible and everyone was friendly and I was approached immediately to ask if I needed help. So when I lost my glasses on the train, I was happy to see the London store had opened. I went in to make a repeat purchase and was ignored for 20 minutes. There were two assistants chatting to each other and laughing and joking. I noticed the guy next to me having the same problem. I decided to make the first move with an assistant, asking if they had the frames I’d bought before and was glared at for disrupting them and then given a very short answer with no leads to a possible sale. So disappointed because I really liked the company and it’s work ethics. I’m sure the online service is much better. Don’t bother going into the store! Or go to the one in Amsterdam!

I am very pleased with my new frames- they are wonderful and the quality is excellent. However, I am not happy with the delay and the customer service. It takes more than a week for them to prepare your frames, regardless of a very low prescription- without any option for an express service. I was never informed that my glasses had arrived, I had to call and check that they were in store which was quite frustrating. In-store customer service is quite good although when I was ordering the glasses, I was a bit dissapointed about the disinterest of the assistant.

Ace and Tate have blown me away with their unreal customer service. Renata was incredibly helpful and I was able to resolve my issue in store in a matter of minutes. The store itself is very well laid out and stylish. Every employee is incredibly friendly and helpful. 5 star experience.
