Tom and Richard went above and beyond assisting me with a defective pair of sunglasses. Not only was the experience of initially purchasing the glasses pleasant, the exchange was unproblematic. Would highly recommend the products and service at this location.

I recently visited Spectacle and while browsing in store noticed a great collection of Dita and Cazal eyewear. I approached the store's assistant manager, Richard, and asked if they could do a repair to sunglasses I own that are a collaboration between Dita and Cazal. My glasses are a limited edition and I was having much difficulty finding a store that could repair and replace the nose bridge. Richard asked that I bring them in and he would take a look. Within a few days I returned with the glasses and dropped them off. When Richard was back in the following day he contacted me and explained he would need to make some calls to the manufacturer and do some hunting for this piece. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call a week later that they found the part and the glasses were repaired and ready for pick up. I can honestly say that dealing with Spectacle and their staff was one of, if not, the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Ive been to a few eyewear repair places in the downtown core and none of them come close to the customer service experience one will receive at Spectacle. I without hesitation recommend them for any of your eyewear needs. I attached a photo to show how unique and rare this nose piece is. Again fantastic job Spectacle.

Spectacle in the Distillery District is a beautiful shop with some of the best selection of interesting and high end eyewear in Toronto. My husband and I purchased two different IC Berlin prescription sunglasses from this location. The sales staff, particularly Richard, was extremely knowledgable about each brand they carry and went beyond the surface when discussing options. We got great information about the history of some of the brands, materials used and a few anecdotes about the founder of IC Berlin (the brand we were most interested in). Richard spent a good deal of time getting to know us and made us feel right at home with his easy going and helpful demeanour. Customer service , in my opinion, is often best judged when things go wrong and Spectacle delivered when an issue with our order occurred. Our first pair of IC Berlin (Sunny Model) with prescription grey flash mirrored lenses arrived on time and beautifully made. The second pair however ran into a manufacturing issue at the lab - the lenses cracked due to the addition grooving required for the IC Berlin Jesse model's unique design. Richard contacted us right away and explained the situation. He kept in contact with the Essilor lab and ensured replacement lenses would be made and shipped in an expedited fashion. Unfortunately the replacement set of lenses also had a manufacturing problem but once again Richard was excellent in his communication and worked very hard to have a third lens created and delivered. Both Spectacle and the Essilor lab offered a very generous gift for the trouble with the second pair of glasses and truly went out of their way to communicate their apology and commitment to make things right. We highly recommend Spectacle and particularly this Distillery District location. Thank you Richard and the team for all your help.
