Hello, I wanted to write to you about my wonderful experience when I came to Georges Laoun Opticien in Montreal where I purchased my new Francis Klein eyeglasses. I recently got a new eye perscription, and as serendipity would have it, as we were headed to the art museum, we made a detour into Geroge Laoun Opticien's door. There I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica who excitedly showed me the amazing Francis Klein section...it was such a great experience to see so many great frames! After choosing one, Jessica took a great deal of time to measure the frame for my face and for my prescription. I never had anyone take so much time in measuring exactly and reassuring me that this frame would work out perfectly. We came back to our home in North Carolina and I want to tell you how very thrilled I am with my new glasses. All of the time that Jessica spent with me, her professional, gentle manner, all meant so much. I never had such a great experience and such a high quality of lense in this amazing frame. I wanted to tell you that you about the great optical technician, Jessica. When I need a new prescription, I hope to return get a new pair of Francis Klein frames and hope Jessica might be kind enough to help me once again. Most gratefully, Suzy Hannon North Carolina

Please never deal with them. You will regret it. Believe me, it is the worst thing to do. They are too bad. You can read about my experience. I went to see them within the last 6-7 months (November/December 2017 and January 2018) and ordered my glasses. It was the worst choice in my life. They sent me to an optometrist at the second store they have at Saint-Denis and I accepted that. After ordering and receiving my glasses, I was unable to see correctly with them. I informed them immediately. The measurements were incorrect. The first optometrist at Saint-Denis did not do well. I was disgusted and they asked me to verify with another optometrist who works with them at Sherbrooke after that. She told me that I need to change my glasses again. I did that with them and I asked at the start if I have to pay a complementary fees for the change. Three people from the company told me no. I confirmed that with them by e-mail and phone too. In addition, I spent one week before having a new appointment with the second optometrist to follow with me and they prepared my new glasses only after three weeks. They were supposed to call me or send me email to pick-up my glasses and they did not. I was with no glasses for that period and I was informed that I need to pay an extra fees for my new glasses. I was upset. The daughter of the owner decided at the end to give me my new glasses for free. It was not the case in my opinion because I paid for a service and it was not done correctly from the start. A first mistake happened from their side by giving me glasses with wrong measurements and a second one too by informing me that I have no complementary fees for the change and modifying their speech when the glasses are ready. Please take on notes that they gave me my new glasses with no fees only after telling them that I am in my right and it is not my business if mistakes happened from their side at different moments and informing them that I can call the OPC (office de protection du consommateur) and a lawyer if needed and give him our exchanges, the receives, my hours of coming and calling to check too and all the details. Now, after less than 7 months, I need to change my glasses. The issue was not totally resolved. In general (96% in order not to say 100%), I have to buy new glasses every 15 or 18 months. I decided to deal with another optometrist and I will ask everybody I know him (friends, network...) not to deal with them.

I am not a client, but we were visiting the art gallery next door with my daughter and her friend, and the girls walked in here absolutely fascinated by the beautiful glasses on display. The owner's daughter spent at least half an hour patiently letting the girls try on anything they desired, and this was their highlight of the day (even more interesting than the art gallery!) Thank you for being so lovely, really going above and beyond when it was obvious we were visiting Montreal and couldn't even be prospective customers. This is customer service at its best and if I were a resident I would definitely be a client.

I walked into their shop on a fluke and wound up buying two pairs of frames to take home. Nobody has a selection like this in our area. They will definitely be a stop the next time I go to Montreal!

I've never ever had the experience that Fallen Sparks has and I've been going there for years. I keep going back because they're honest salespeople that want whats best for the client (and not whats best for their bottom line). Best Optician in montreal!
