Great service! A man at the counter was of great help to me and my mom by fixing my mom's glasses at no cost. The world needs more kindness and I found some kindness today in this lunneterie shop. Blessing to you all.

Complete scammers. They're supposedly on a glasses network for my school's insurance. So for my insurance I'm supposed to get 75$ off from a store discount since they're on the network, as well as 75$ off the glasses from insurance. I bought glasses for 225$ from this place (150$ glasses + 75$ anti-scratch which doesn't even work) but I only paid 150$ since the salesman took off 75$ in store, which I assumed to be the in-store discount. When I went to claim the glasses for my insurance later, desjardins told me they had already been claimed by the store. So the 75$ he took off in the store wasn't actually the store discount like it was supposed to be, he just claimed that as the insurance discount. When I went back and confronted him about this, he explained that the 150$ cost of glasses is already the reduced price and takes into account the store's discount, which he had NEVER said before, nor are there any price tags proving this. All around an awful experience and not going back here, as well as letting all my friends know not to go here either

Prompt friendly service from the optometrist

Feb 21, 2016
Today I went to this vision clinic for an appointment with an optometrist. I chose this place because I'm a student at Montreal Polytechnic and found it the closest one to the university, suggested by AECSP website. Dr. Joan Teboul who examined my eyes put time and did a nice job to find the best numbers for my eyes. Appreciate her. She was also smart and nice to talk to. However, people who were there at reception were not very polite and both had serious problem in communicating in English. (I think such a profession in a bilingual city needs a receptionist that can fluently speak both languages, otherwise, friendly, you would not be a winner.) Just to add, later today I went to LASIK MD center to consult for laser vision correction. The doctor who examined my eyes said numbers are different than that of what I got earlier today, as I could better see small letters. This was certainly because they had more modern devices and advanced tests. So since I already had the plan to have a surgery to get rid of my glasses, I will not spend $300 for a pair of glasses for a short-time use; instead I'll go for the surgery, probably with LASIK MD. Until now, they were very professional and I was happy with my last-minute appointment with them today!
