I had a negative experience with Native Ken. Online frame selection seemed great. I found a pair of frames that were sold out everywhere, and I was very excited. I emailed NK to make sure they had the frames in stock. They intially replied with a no. Five minutes later, they replied saying they had found a pair. I was excited. The next bit is a mess, so I will lay it out as a timeline for clarity. For reference, the website says the frames ship in two days. 4/17 - Order submitted and confirmed with email 4/20 - I email asking about shipping status, no reply. 4/25 - I email again and get a response blaming a "server update" and an apology saying my order will be "pushed through." 4/26 - I reply to the email from 4/25 asking for an estimated ship date. No response. 4/27 - I email again. This time, there was a "warehouse flood" and I should expect a tracking number the following Wednesday. 5/12 - Radio silence for nearly two weeks. I email asking about my order. No response. 5/15 - I email again. Turns out my frames were supposedly destroyed in the flood. Refund issued. You don't have to be a private investigator to know that series of events makes absolutely no sense. Acetate frames destroyed by a flood? Is that a joke? Two stars for inventory selection (that they may not even have) and for Christos taking the time to respond to my emails.. sometimes. I do not feel that he was honest throughout the transaction. I do not recommend this business. I ended up ordering frames direct from the manufacturer and they were shipped out within 12 hours.

Absolute best experience for eyewear New York! The staff is amazing and the selection is fantastic. Only issue is trying to choose just one style. Go see there knowledgable and professional staff and tell them I sent you!

This is for the actually coffee shop inside Native Ken. I hesitate to give it 5 stars because then the secret is out but every time I come in they are super friendly and take their time making a high quality coffee. They also sell fresh locally toasted beans. Highly recommended for consistently good coffee in Chelsea.

So I usually don't care to write reviews but I needed to let everyone know about my experience @ Native Ken. From beginning to end the experience felt catered to me. Everyone there was sincere, knowledgeable and efficient. The Doctor was personable and spot on very professional. Then the experience on the floor with the style experts at the glasses bar was superb. The gentlemen were again personable it felt like I knew them forever and they impressed me with the product knowledge the attention to detail. Now, the store has glasses for everyone from Thom Browne to Dita and the house brand Which was exquisite. The Native Ken brand was well made, great details and just a ton of variety. I ended up buying a Native Ken gray pair that fit my face and a great elevated everyday accessory almost like a piece of jewelry. I had my new pair within the week and I can't say enough about this place. The best experience I've had buying anything in. Ew York in a very long time.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: This was definitely one of the best optometrist experiences I have ever had. The owner of the establishment is always there and very very hands on. He handled every aspect of my visit himself and really did a thorough job explaining everything to me. The store itself is beautiful and has a really cool design. They are also a very high end sunglass store and carry a large array of the latest brands and trends. I ended up picking up a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses in addition to my regular reading glasses. Both pairs were very original and not something you could find at a regular store. I always get compliments on them. Def going back here from now on.
