Staff and doctor were unbelievably rude. I had my records sent over and the eye doctor insisted I had last been seen at a chain and town I had never been to. She looked at my lenses and could not get my Rx from them. After the exam I wanted glasses and contacts. When I found the minimum price of frames to be steep I said I would just buy contacts. After that the guy at the desk got even more indescribably rude. I kept calling to find if the contacts were ready and I was eventually told the paper with the Rx got wet, so they were never ordered. When they finally told me they had come in they said no need to stop back, he would deliver them. They did not come and he said he put them "on my porch." I told him I lived in an apartment but he insisted he had the right address. I never could get any records from them so I was out the money and needed another eye exam from a new doctor.

I visited Urban Optiques for the first time recently. I was blown away by the aura as soon as I walked into the door. There is a very welcoming and friendly feeling in the air and wasn't all "uppity" like some places can be. I got excellent service like I was the only client there. Dr. Michelle was friendly and made me feel relaxed so I felt good about asking questions and got thorough answers every time. I got my glasses in very quick and when I went to pick them up, I met new women who work there and the treatment was the same. Thank you to Dr. Michelle and all the ladies of Urban Optiques, I won't be going anywhere else for my eye needs and neither will my family and friends!

Save yourself a lot of hassle - Don't go to this establishment. I had a scratched lens on my eyewear and brought my glasses into Urban Optiques a month ago to get the lens repaired. They told me initially it would be two weeks. After two weeks I called to see if/when they would be ready and after waiting 10 minutes on hold was told they were not in yet. I called the next week, same story. On hold for five minutes. Call back - maybe they forgot me. Nope, put me on hold for another 7 minutes, just to tell me that they aren't in yet. Yesterday I had had enough and told them, just give me my glasses back. Two hours later was told my glasses were in. I asked at that time to speak with the manager. Not available. No call back. Arrived this morning to pick up my glasses. They aren't in yet. No explanation as to why it has been a month, no explanation as to why I was told they were ready to be picked up and weren't. NO explanation. Just a blank stare looking back at me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, ever. In fact if anyone asks me I'll tell them this is the worst service I've had in a very, very long time.

Great service and many styles of eye glass frames to choose from. Dr. Calder was very professional and very through, gave me a few more test than I've had done before... I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years and this was so refreshing and personal, I felt like their "only customer". I took advantage of their Amazon Local ad and saved some $$. Now, after wearing my new eyeglasses with new updated lenses, my eyesight is much improved... And get this, they were even able to swap out the lenses on my Sport Sunglasses for ridin' my Harley, didn't have to buy a new frame.

Just picked up my third pair of glasses from this wonderful retailer. Love the great selection of all the latest frames and the friendly, helpful, knowledgeable service. Also love the convenience as a Northville resident and loyal supporter of local businesses. Keep up the exceptional service to our community, Urban Optiques!
