I went into this location a few months back, as I was due for an eye exam and wearing glasses held together with super glue. I picked this location in particular, because one of my patients (I'm in the dental field) had been here, it was close to home, and they carried the Vera Bradley frames that I was wearing that were broken. I called and set up an appointment about a week in advance, since I need a later evening appointment. They accommodated me very well. I waited about a week for my appointment and the doctor was great (I believe her name was Dr. Cashew...). I was their last patient of the night and she was pleasant and took the time to answer all of my questions. She told me that my prescription had not changed, but if I wanted to, I could wait to pick out some new frames. Upon waiting to be checked out, I began to look at the frame selection. I found the Vera Bradley section and was disappointed that I did not see the frames that I currently had, so I stared to look at other options. Finally a technician named Amanda, greeted me. I had about 5 pairs of frames in my hand when she came over. I wasn't happy with any of the 5 that I had. I decided to ask her, knowing that my patient came into my office a week ago, with the SAME EXACT frames that I was looking to replace, if she was able to order a different style. Her answer was short, it was a no. She decided to tell me that the glasses that I had on my face at the time looked good, and since I was their last patient, I wanted to not hold them up. I know all to well how that feels. So, I decided to go with the frames that helped me pick out, and one more pair that were the closest thing I could find to my BELOVED broken frames. Amanda told me that my frames would be ready for pick up in about two weeks. As a courtesy, their office would call me to let me know that they were ready. Fast forward to two weeks later, and I go in at the end of their work day to pick up my mediocre glasses. I had to wait, which wasn't a big deal. I decided to look more at the frame selection they had, since I felt so rushed last time. I made my way over to the Vera Bradley section and LOW AND BEHOLD! The frames that I had went in for were sitting on the wall right in front of my face. I have never been so dissatisfied in MY ENTIRE LIFE. I don't remember the woman's name who helped me then, all I know is that I asked her if they ordered frames if they don't have them in stock... She told me that they did. I was FURIOUS, but decided to buy them, seeing as how that's the thing I went to this office for. Not once did the lady ask me if I would like to return the 2 pair of glasses that I was completely unhappy with. She happily took my HSA card and provided me with a receipt and said that I could pick that pair up in two more weeks. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Unless you like feeling rushed, terrible service and glasses that you are completely unhappy with. Or like to just waste money. The only reason they even got 2 stars was because of the doctor. Now I'm out about $400 for 3 pairs of glasses, but I only wear one of them. :'(

I went into the office yesterday, (04/03/2018) at approximately 5:45 EST, to reorder contacts. I was greeted by a lady with reddish brown hair. She told me it would be a minute because she was already assisting a customer. I was standing at the front counter. Then a male customer came in. The same lady greeted him and told him to come have a seat. A couple of minutes went by, then a lady with short blonde hair completed the sale with her customer. She went right to the man that came into the store AFTER me and helped him first. When she finally got to me I asked her if it's customary to assist customers that are picking up glasses as opposed to customers reordering contacts? She told me no. I said well, I was here first and you helped the customer that came in after me. She then said. Well, I didn't know who was next. Common sense should've told her to say "May I help who is next?". I then explained that I am making a formal complaint, how do I go about that? She gave me the number to corporate. Which I have already called. She then explained that she was the Assistant Manager so she could help me. Obviously you can't help me, if you are part of the problem. All the women that were working that day (a total of 3 in the front), seemed like they had an attitude problem. I'm not sure what was going on, but I felt like public enemy number 1. I also read comments about the doctor there and I agree with the others. He seemed really frustrated with my daughter when she couldn't answer which letters looked more clear to her. If corporate reads this review, you need an entire overhaul on your staff. Hire employees that have actual brains and understand the dynamics of Customer Service. The eye doctor needs to retire because obviously the patiets irritate him to no end. And finally this place lacks diversity. I will NEVER return to this location for myself or anyone else. And my review doesn't need a generic, watered down response from the owner. As I stated above, I have already reached out to corporate. This location sucks!

I had just recently purchased insurance through my workplace and was looking around the area and just so happened to walk into this location. Let me tell you, this is a fantastic establishment. I walked in and started asking questions. All of the women working in the front were more than willing to answer any questions that I had. From how to fill things out, or how much this would cost with insurance at every price point. So I had my prescription faxed over from my previous eye doctor and then the woman sat me down and explained how to fill out their paperwork. I get my paperwork filled out and they asked if I wanted to make an appointment. So I did, and they said they could get me in the same day. So the appointment rolls around. I check in and start to look at glasses. Get called back into the first room for questions and what not. The women was more than happy to explain all of the equipment and what it was used for. I then go back out to look at more glasses. At this time, a team member came up to ask if I needed help looking for glasses. I said yes. She helped me through the whole process! And I was by myself. Sooo I needed all the help I could get to find a pair that looked good. I get called back for the doctor. The doctor was very nice and was willing to answer any questions that I had regarding my readings. She guided me through all of my options and then lead me on my way. The women that helped me with picking out a few pairs had saved them and aparently she was thinking which pair would look best on me while I was in the room. She gave me what she thought would look good on me. I picked a pair and we sat down to go over all of the options in regards to lenses, coatings, transitions. I picked options I would like and then told me the price with my insurance. My first time with my own insurance.. and this was a great experience. I am glad that I switched from SVS vision to America’s Best, because, from what I can see, they are the best.
