We ordered glasses for our 5 year old son last week, we found 2 pair with hinges so he could pull the glasses off easier. I was told previous from 2 different optometrist that those would be easier for him to use so he wouldn't bend the frames. When we went to your store last week we also asked about the hinges, the girl helping us said those are the best for kids. However we picked up the glasses today and Nadine was just NASTY!!!! She gave my son the first pair and I showed him how he can pull them away gently from his face, Nadine literally screamed, NO dont tell him that. EXCUSE ME!!!! I AM HIS MOTHER, we asked before picking out the frames and again the girl said they would be good for him. Nadine then copped a bigger attitude and went to the counter to heat the glasses so she could bend them, while talking about me with some guy standing there. She handed the glasses back to my son and she told him to put them on and he said they're hot so I pulled them off, no apology for giving a 5 year old hot frames. We took our frames and went down the road to have his first pair adjusted and the optician said the pair he was wearing was fit to right to the side of his head, now I have to bring them back to be adjusted. I already picked out my 2 pair, but if I'm going to be treated like that, I will go elsewhere. Apparently customers aren't a priority to some people.

If only I could give negative stars. I'm due again and still remember how over-the-top rude the lady was. Rowena or whatever her name is should be told that when the store is empty you can hear every word when she's whispering nasty "those people" comments and other vulgar racist discriminations to the embarrassed other girl. From the start, she was very unhelpful picking out frames, rushing me and telling me i have a small face and should get kids glasses (which broke in a week) after rolling her eyes when i told her i work in fire and disaster restoration and need something durable. She made a spectacle of my husband retrieving his wallet while i was choosing frames, even telling the other girl to make me wait outside because i wasnt going to pay. Not only will i never go back but i made sure my employer uses LENSCRAFTERS for prescription safety glasses for our region - since she refused to explain their safety glasses program to me and even stopped another employee from doing so. She never fit them to my face, not even when they arrived and was so rude that i refused any extras even my usual scratch resistance because i was done spending money to be treated this way. Sadly, i was a happy customer of the greece location before moving...now i tell family and friends to avoid the company altogether.

Good selection and great pricing. I had a problem with one pair of glasses and they replaced them - after their 30 day warranty..

I smashed my glasses and couldn't get an appointment with my eye doctor for weeks. My husband found America's Best and I got an appointment right away. Everyone was so friendly and polite, the eye exam was very thorough and they took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the results. The price was better than our insurance would have been! My new bifocals should be ready next week and I'll update my review then. They did say the they are very busy right after Christmas, maybe a lot of glasses get stepped on during the holidays?

During a business trip, I accidentally broke my frames which I did not buy here. I needed to find a pair to fit my lenses, QUICK! I was so lucky they fit in a pair Sue found. Good service.
