Reckless use of unqualified Student Opticians who damage your glasses and blame you. At first I went in to adjust my pair of glasses that I had recently picked up for adjustment. The "optician" who came to help was at first friendly, but then blamed the badly adjusted nose piece on me - saying that I likely "closed my glasses case onto my glasses". After a couple adjustments, and as she insisted on cleaning my already clean glasses - and even with out them, I was getting worried about how "fast" her hands were as I've never seen an optician "wave" glasses about so casually. Although it's fitting a bit loose, I just felt I had to leave soon for the sake of my glasses (as I had a pretty deep prescription, and my Frames were nice, I seriously had equivalent tools at home to make my own adjustments). Sadly, when I took them off to look / observe them, my frames were nicked by her (they were designer frames, and I likely need to replace my frames as the nick is quite obvious and I need to see clients). She didn't even announce herself as a student Optician - my wife was only able to see it on her name tag. Don't even consider their after service as a benefit - it's literally cheaper to just buy your glasses from private shops since the markup here is at least 40-50%. I've seriously had glasses that I've worn for 4-5 years in a row that hasn't EVER had this type of aesthetic damage. Thank you for inconveniencing me on MULTIPLE occasions.

Limited number of options on highend frames but good discounts (40% on lenses). Nice staff

Sales people are too pushy. They jump at you as soon as you walk in.

I am a retired senior I had cataract surgery last year early December, by mid January 2018 I had my sight tested and got a new prescription for my eyes, I had a pair of progressive eyewear made by Costco. After a month I couldn't see well it was discovered My prescription had changed so I went back to Costco to ask for advice, they were extremely kind and made me a new pair free of charge. Later I was at Sherway and Lens crafter had a special on so I had another pair made by them as a precaution. Unfortunately after two months my prescription changed again I was quiet embarrassed , I first went back to Costco a second time fully expecting to pay for the change a second time BUT they couldn't do enough to to reassure me and again made a new pair FREE of CHARGE. Today I went to LensCrafters with the pair they had made and for the first time told them about my dilemma, they were very clear and concise " If your prescription changes within the first month we can do it now you pay the full amount , we can give you a 20 % discount " period. So people moral of the story please get a Costco membership it is worth every penny. I have been wearing prescription lenses for the last twenty years, mostly made by LensCrafters, this is the first time Costco made them for me , perfect glasses Super excellent service.
