This place is a joke. They charge you premium but provide service level of a street hotdog vendor. After $300 in, no one bothered to explain to me what the result was, until I chased them. They even said to me, why so many questions... When I got home I realized they give me the wrong lens. If you have to go to this place, be extra careful, 'cause they certainly won't be

Best customer service! The staff is very friendly and they are amazing with kids especially those on the One Sight Program. Its busy here during the week but, if you're patient enough it won't be long.

A good effort but in the end very disappointed with this location. Initially I stopped by and spoke with William (very friendly) and he helped me pick a pair of sunglasses. He noticed that I needed an updated test so I booked an appt and came back later. When that was done the specific frames he helped me pick were no longer in the store (I assume sold) so they ordered them in for me and said around 4-10 days I believe. I called in at least a week later and was told they'd be there in 3 days so just come by. I waited another week because I was out of town and went in, but there were not there, we confirmed it had been 15 days since I ordered them. So I finally picked them up today and received a slight discount for the delay which was greatly appreciated. HOWEVER the frames that I actually got were not the ones that I wanted, and in fact were the color that was in stock in store the whole time, so I waited all that time for nothing!! Very frustrated and now I cant get through on the phone. I will try again later and update this review if we can find an effective solution. I am hopeful because everyone I spoke with was very helpful and most issues were not directly their fault. Edit: got my glasses in the end so it all worked out, they did refund me $50 for the hassle

I don’t recommend this place for eye exam. The drops they use to dilate your eyes is not good. You will see double vision for hours and its not safe to drive home. The doctor recommends coming back for a checkup every year. Which I don’t think is necessary. They have a poor selection for eye glasses & frames. Considering its a sister company to sunglass hut they should carry a better selection. Insurance doesn’t process the claim right away so be prepared to pay in full. There are 3 people at the reception area who are not taking the lead on engaging with the customers.

Update #1: I went back to the store to exchange the glasses. I was not given any hassle. Dealt with William again. He found me an appropriate pair of glasses and handled the exchange efficiently. Total change in service. If this had been my first experience with Lenscrafters, I would have given them five stars, no hesitations. Let’s see what happens when my glasses arrive and I go through the pick-up and fitting again... Original: The first time I went, I was ignored. I went back a week later, was pushed to consider Ray-ban sunglasses, incidentally owned by Luxottica, the parent company of Lenscrafters. I get the Ray-bans, which arrived in exactly a week, but my prescription is too strong for it to fit the frame correctly. Nobody flagged this issue when they sold me the glasses. Anyway, I spent an hour getting the glasses adjusted. Let that sink in. An hour. To pick up glasses that should have been mostly adjusted in the first place by their advertised fancy adjustment process... An hour. The adjustments included the employee placing the nose bridge area in their heater to bend the frame in the middle. This only succeeded in scratching the frame, which I didn’t notice until I got home. Oh, the lens have anti-reflective and polarized coatings on them. Guess what happens when you put coated lenses into direct heat... The lenses look like they have a haze on them that can’t be fully cleaned off. After this one employee gave up, she handed me off to a guy named William, I think, and he actually knew what he was doing. He adjusted the frame at the arms like you’re supposed to and he pointed out that I should have bought smaller glasses (which was my original plan). If it wasn’t for this guy, I’d argue that the Lenscrafters at the Eaton Center deserves ZERO stars. Sir, you were great.
