Found a pair of sunglasses that I really liked. Unfortunately they had a tiny scratch on them. The employee told me that they unfortunately couldn’t sell damaged goods. Oh well. My loss. Went back the following week to see if they happened to have a new pair of the ones I wanted.... turns out the same pair of sunglasses were still on the shelf! I guess it may have been oversight on their part? Let’s go with that theory. Called the store manager a couple of days after that to mention what had happened..... turns out the same glasses were still on the shelf!! Seems that this store doesn’t seem to respect their own policy to not sell damaged sunglasses.

I had a bad experience. I purchased Raybans and returned them the same day due to the fact that I could get 200$ off at another store. The worker did not know how to do the return and I had to spend 30 minutes waiting for her to call different stores. I then made sure to ask that this was a refund and not a purchase and she reassured me that it was a refund. I just opened my banking account to find out she did exacly what I asked about. I am now down 400$ and have no proof. On top of all this I called the store and had no apologies. I have yet to receive a refund. Trash.

Got great service over the phone by Stephanie. I called in looking to find out if they had a particular model in stock. I was calling in to find a replacement pair of RB's that my fiancée had got stolen from her. Wasn't sure the exact model but she took the time to look up the ones she had previously bought and looked through the city to find out who had them in stock. Even went as far as offering to call another store and have them put aside for me.

I bought a pair of glasses last year. The young woman who sold them to me explained that within 12 months of purchase, if they are damaged in any way or which I found strange, if you LOSE them, that Sunglasses Hut would in fact allow me to buy a replacement pair at 50% off! That was very surprising to me, but I thought that was fantastic. At any rate, I went to La Ronde with the kids in Montreal last year in October. The glasses flew off my head into the abyss lol, really dumb of me. Anyways, I contacted the store, and they told me that nobody had told me that, and that I was lying! I said that someone did, but it's my word against theirs. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE, they operate on COMMISSION, and if they don't sell enough they are fired, so this company gets young people's backs up, and they'll say anything to you in order to stay employed. Buyer BEWARE! Terrible staff and shameful business model.

In contrast to the location at the Rideau Centre, I was unimpressed with the service I received at this store. The assistant manager was chawing on a piece of gum when I walked in, and I didn't find her terribly helpful. I spent good money on a pair of Ralph sunglasses at Sunglass Hut which have been very unsatisfactory as they haven't kept their shape.
