I'd give the place more stars, with the exception of 2 things. The doctor was thorough and professional, no problem there. I wondered how they could schedule appointments every 10 minutes, but there is some pre-testing that is handled by another person. I did wait at least 15 minutes which bugged me a bit because hey, I made an appointment. The negatives were:
- Person who took my order sold me a "package" that I didn't want. I was buying reading glasses, and said I wanted scratch resistant coating. She says that will be $60. I said gee, my wife was on your website and told me that costs $15 per pair. No, the woman says it's $60. Later I check the website and sure enough, $15 per pair (and $7.50 for the second pair). The receipt makes no sense, so I call the store, and they tell me the package is better because you get scratch resistant coating, 1-year protection plan, and UV protection (which I don't need for reading glasses). I complained, and that reduced my bill by about $45. I felt like it was a total up-sell job.
-Like others, I was told I'd get a call when the glasses were ready. Nope! No call.
All said and done I am happy with the glasses, but good luck getting 2 pairs for $69. The employees there were decent people (maybe less than honest), but the first person I talked with when I called to complain about the total told me that scratch resistant coating costs $15 per lens, which was also wrong. Then when I told her I felt like I had been sold something I didn't want, she passed me on to the person who took the order originally, and she fixed it. Let's just say it was needless stress.
