Had an amazing experience here! I had a 12 o clock appointment but they took me about 45 minutes early, Everyone on staff was very friendly. I had an easy time picking out the frames I wanted and even got some helpful suggestions. No pressure to buy something I didn’t need, the ophthalmologist did a great exam and I was more than happy with the results. Will definitely be coming back soon with my husband!

As for the screenings and some of the staff, very nice. They do good work for sure. As for whomever answers the calls, not friendly, not knowledgeable At All, not very encouraging to motivate an appointment or a visit back there. Will be going elsewhere. The first person -- the first point of contact between your business and your customers should be a very positive, and upbeat one, the person should be professional, courteous and carry enough experience and knowledge to answer questions effectively and draw your customers into your store. My experience was the opposite when calling in.

Went in for a contact eye exam and they couldn't give me the contact class the same day therefore I couldn't get my trial pair that day. Also Doctor Mckinnon was on a two hour lunch/conference call according to the employees. So I make an appointment for the next day at 5pm for the eye contact class and was 20 minutes late because of a car accident on Woodward, I did leave work a half hour early as well to be there ON TIME. Anyways they would not give me the class because it takes 1 hour and the Doctor leaves at 6pm promptly. I got my money back fortunately but they won't give me my contact prescription bc of legal purposes. But no matter, the Doctor said it was the same as my eyeglass prescription in my exam yesterday. So I can order my contacts online. The woman at the front desk tried to act like it was my fault since I was late, but really how petty is an hour long class to put a contact in your eye and take it back out??? Are we children? The class should take 15 minutes at the most. Americas Best in general has some dumb policies and there workers/doctors at this location are not great. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE, GO TO THE PROFESSIONALS!

I don’t know what the 1 star reviews are about. I had a great time here! Everyone (I can’t even single anyone out) was patient, polite, fun, and thorough about wiping off anything you set your face on or touched.
