About two years ago we approached Sands and Associates as we were in debt, with no relief in sight. We met with Cindy W. in the Langley office. We were met with a person who listened to our story, and responded with compassion and a level of respect we did not expect. This was a difficult journey, but with Cindy’s support, made it through with our dignity intact. We now find ourselves in a position to pay our debt early, but credit our success to the manner in which we were treated, and the process required to help us understand what is needed to be responsible regarding our finances and understand the principles of responsible money management. We are grateful that we have met our responsibility, but not without Cindy and her amazing approach to people who have failed themselves, and still end up feeling like decent and responsible people. Thank you Cindy! We learned a great deal during this process.

Sands & Assoc were extremely helpful in getting me back on track. I have been able to focus on my life better without worrying about the financial burden that was taken care of with my consumer proposal. The staff are friendly and helpful and have always promptly answered any questions or concerns that I may have had. I recommend them if you need help dealing with your financial situation.

Hi. I was very unsure about going to a company and revealing my financial situation. After researching several and having Sands and Associates recommended to me I made an appointment. They were very quick to put me at ease and were very professional. after going through all the options we decided that a consumer proposal was right for me. My councillor was very quick to get the ball rolling and came up with a repayment plan that saved me 55,000 dollars off my dept. I would recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in money troubles.

I was going through some tough times when I relocated from Alberta to BC, struggling to make ends meet... it took me awhile to ask for help (more because My pride got in the way) but when I finally caved I found Sands & Associates through “google search” and I called and made an appointment, when I got to my appointment it was a free service they provide to help me with options with my debt... Cindy is my trustee and she helped me a ton to get me through my situation, she’s definitely sincere and knowledgeable! I ended up filing for a consumer proposal and it eased my stress a 100% and now I can focus on my day to day life without the hassle of “who I owe or forgot to pay” ... thanks again Cindy you’ve been super to deal with during this process.

Sometimes pride and embarrassment gets in your way of seeking the help you need during troubled times especially in your older years because of the feeling of being judged and a feeling of incompetence of not knowing how to fix it.Hiding it or what ever your doing is just causing more turmoil and then you really dig yourself deeper by making mistakes when not thinking clearly - like I did - being desperate and in emotional turmoil I fell for the commercial of Credit Counseling on TV. Big big mistake ! I wasted a couple of years with them not knowing they actually work more for the banks and your debtors and it would have taken me years to have things worked out. It was a friend that saw I wasn't getting any better that told me about Sands & Associates.(I had no clue that she also was in trouble - see - that's how we hide things.) I swallowed my pride thinking how much worse can it get and went for the first meeting which is free of charge. I was treated by respectful caring staff helping me make the right choices on my way of being debt free. I highly recommend Sands & Associates and am forever grateful for their clear and professional help.
