Was in a Financial Proposal and the way my vehicle was put in, when hard times arose, I just returned it without any backlash. I was able to finalize the Proposal and my life is turning around. Thanks very much for the help.

Had them assist me in 2004, moved out of province and called many, many times and constantly got the run around (hung up on, claiming they don’t know what I’m talking about, all has been taken care of, confused as it was always a rotation of new staff, someone will call me back, the files been closed, there’s no longer any files on the matter, etc) as I had a settlement I included for the duration with them. They continued to take the settlement and avoid my contact even after all was completed and I paid them in good standing always. When I moved back to the area I went in to see them and they questioned me, asked me for the documentation of such for proof and asked me questions like, I was a criminal and didn’t take me seriously. Terrible opportunists taking advantage of people in their time of need. Ironic they never had any issues with consistently collecting my money!

Great company with great service! Allen and his team really do care about their client's well being. Allen even took time personally to sit and guide me through the financial maze (or should I say mess) that I was in. He is my hero with a heart of gold, will never forget him. I admire his strong work ethics, vast experience in his field, reliability and integrity. Don't consider any other firm, he is the best hands down!

My husband and I needed some help with our finances and Allen was very quick to assist us with what we needed, he totally understood and treated us with respect.

$1800 at 200 for 9 months is the going cost of bankruptcy not $2700 as D.A. Macleod would tell you, or did tell me. I shopped around some, this firm met me for free. The lawyer himself (never introduced himself) was very rude, and after he made an appearance the helper also became rude. Most importantly they overcharge by nearly 40% of the going rate for bankruptcy. They attempted to make me go threw a 27 month bankruptcy. Also they were judgemental, and when I pointed out that they are overcharging by a huge margin compared to competitors the helper replied "well if you can't pay"....missing the point enirely while throwing a financial jab. I wound up going with a new firm in town from Toronto. Much cheaper, and they don't rudely throw accussations at you; if they have questions - they ask. Be ready to be misled with D.A., and if you know the basics they will get rid of you as they are only looking for profits; leaving there they were quite comfortable having me believe I couldn't afford to deal with my financial problems which I should feel guilty for. When in fact I am a victim of being robbed of income which I should have had. Stay away, mean, self righteous, falsely vindictive capitalists. Beware in this business, many firms steer you towards spending more. D.A. did not even mention that there is a consumer proposal option...they never even new my total debt, and he was figurtively sticking his finger in my face in a fit. Again, looking back they were only looking to vulture away at anything left; sadistically searching for something they thought I'd be hiding. WRONG. JUST CAUSE YOUR EVIL DOESN'T MEAN EVERYONE IS. Thank you though, cause I would not have been able to identify a food firm without that experience. A good firm will not rush you, and will give you information. They will not push you towards any final decision but will offer advice. THAT IS NOT D.A. MACLEOD. one star for showing me what to avoid.
