I can’t speak highly enough of Sue. She was honest and forthcoming from the second we walked into her office. She eased our minds and guided us through the process leaving no detail out, and making sure we understood everything that was going on. She explained every possible scenario, and outcome. I’ve reached out to her several times since Sept, and she’s been quick to respond and always has and answer for everything I’ve asked. She made it very clear what the expectations of us were and what was needed on my end. Again, I can’t recommend her enough!

I wasnt going to review to put my buisness out there but I had to let people know how wonderful Sue is. She has alleviated any and most financial stress I had in my life. It happened fast! The only hold up was me swallowing my pride and doing it. She didnt make me feel judged in the slightest bit for my actions that put me there in the first place. She gave me my happy life back. I owe her far more than I pay!

We felt more ridiculed than helped majority of the time, It took a period of 5 months and we didn't come close to filling for our Consumer Proposal. I was very pleased to go in the beginning because it was our only chance at rebuilding the damage of loosing our jobs, and having no income in that period of time. The longer we waited through Welker & Associates Inc. the deeper the whole became. We ended up having to leave our trustee services which left us deeply upset and confused. Through a close friends recommendation we were referred to Hoyes & Michalos. Our friends said they didn't experience the same problems we were going through or even a fraction of the stress and they were concerned knowing we were trying to rectify the problem in already a turbulent time. From the moment we entered it was pleasant and friendly, we came prepared with the same documentation as before and our new trustee was shocked at the amount of documentation and paperwork we had already organized and prepped from before, It was everything he needed to asses our situation and how to file for a consumer proposal. He informed us about every legal and personal step, and what can or will happen. We photocopied all documents necessary and our first meeting was an hour. The next appointment was 20 mins! and we had one more after his vacation, which was a week's time. On March 20th we had gone through the steps and the 45 day waiting period possibilities and what we could afford to pay monthly. We signed the forms and were filled within the hour. In as little as a few day's! with Hoyes & Michalos the results were satisfying, helpful, respectful and informative to both sides of the debtors and ourselves. Im very happy we chose to switch companies. We are on the road to recovery. Just to reiterate! we have no hate for Welker & Associates, just disappointment on a customer service level. The information that was given in regards to how Welker works was thorough and concise; but no help was given when questions were asked. We were told numerous times by our trustee that they couldn't offer any advice to help us. We felt stranded and that our trustee only had our debtors in benefit in mind. We were even told its normal to leave this office crying!. Take your time and be careful who you chose to represent you. Everyone has their fit and Welker & associates wasn't in our best interest.
