Darlene is the one to avoid. She is an extortionist! She says she is the district manager and if her standard and way of operation is what Discount relies on, then I would never use them ever. She signed off on my rental at full tank and told me to bring it back at full. I drove total 27.6kms and filled up the truck to full. Costed 21 dollars, that means I drove around 100kms, which I didn't. I brought up the issue noting that the vehicle she gave to me as full was not full and based on my calculation, they owe me 15 dollars in fuel. I didn't use up the fuel and she said I owe her a filled up car. She took the paperwork then forged it by writing a 7 next to 8, making it a 7/8. She then said she never told me the vehicle was full and it was my error for bringing it back at full. 1. Do you job and check to make sure the vehicle is actually full in fuel before you tell the customers that it is and have them sign off, trusting Discount in the first place. 2. Don't argue with a customer when they bring up a valid error made on your part. 3. Don't forge a document to hide your error, especially if you are a manager of any sort.

Darlene says she is a manager or or district manager or something like that, and she has zero concept of customer service, not sure how she got to where she got to. She is rude to her fellow employees and she lies to her customers. She even forged the contract document so she is not liable for her mistake. Don't deal with her.

Avoid the old and grumpy woman that calls herself a manager, Darlene. She lies and rips off customers.

By far the worst rental experience of my life. I would give them zero stars if it were an option. They take reservations for vehicle types that they don't even carry. Even worse the reservations themselves are meaningless. I reserved a car ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. When I got there I was told "Sorry we have no vehicles available. At all." After being put on hold a couple of times she found a nearby location that would pick me up in half an hour. TWO HOURS LATER he finally arrived (and took me a half hour in the opposite direction I was travelling in). Walking in there were five groups of angry customers, none of which were getting the vehicles they reserved. One of them turned to me and said "Don't waste your time, go elsewhere, ANYWHERE else". I finally got a "free upgrade" to a jumbo pickup truck that I absolutely did not want or need, but it was the only vehicle they had. By the time I finally made it out of there I was three hours late for my very important work trip to Edmonton. I COULD HAVE DRIVEN TO EDMONTON in the time it took them to do their job. Even returning it was a nightmare. I called to find out which location it needed to go to. The computer I talked to for half an hour knew everything about my rental based on the phone number I called from. When I finally got to a human, he was completely oblivious. He needed the rental agreement number so I asked him if you could look it up by name or number as I looked for the paperwork. He rudely told me it doesn't work like that and do I have a number or not? So I gave him the number. Which he repeated three times. I confirmed it hadn't changed since the last time he repeated it... Then he tells me there is no record of that number, and am I sure I actually have a reservation. At this point (way passed my limit for stupidity) I told him I *know* it exists because I have the damn vehicle, all I need to know is where to drop it off! So I searched through my emails... Found a confirmation to return it to the original location. Thanks for nothing. I get there, try to return the vehicle to the lady in the video box, and was told "Sorry we can't take it back here, you need to go to the other location". Nightmare from beginning to end. A horrific tale of incompetence, apathy, and downright rudeness. I would happily pay twice the price to rent from ANYONE other than Discount.

I would like to thank Amel for her great help and extraordinary service I think discount is lucky to have such a great person like her working for them. Thank you very much Amel.
