Rented a jeep Grand Cherokee at this location for work and as I was filling it up with gas to return it the pump kept shutting off. I assumed the tank was full and returned the vehicle. The next day I incurred an almost $40 charge for 12L of fuel they say they had to use to fill the truck. When I called to inquire the manager at the location proceeded to tell me that SOME Jeeps have gas tanks that shut the pump off when it's not actually full, and maybe that was the issue here but it was a brand new truck and should not have been. Throughout the conversation the manager was condescending and rude and kept telling me how far I drove and how much gas that would've taken to return to full. At NO TIME in the conversation did he offer an alternative to paying the $3/L that they charged me considering they know these vehicles sometime have this issue. The service was awful, his tone was awful and going forward I will rent from other providers in that airport and avoid Avis.

Rented a pickup truck and got in. As I was pulling out of the lot I noticed the driver side mirror was shattered. Pulled back into the spot and asked for another truck at the counter. Got another truck (the inspection mentioned a chipped windshield in two places) and noticed that there was a large crack in it. At this point I was tired and just wanted to get out of there so I left with the truck. I don't know the laws in Canada, but in the States you can get ticketed for having a cracked windshield. Not to mention many companies will not let you on their property with a cracked windshield. It seems like a company should not be renting a vehicle not roadworthy...

I booked a reservation for a vehicle, it was my only way to travel to Edmonton that day. They promised me they would stay open a little later for me to pick up the car cause they knew I would be running late. Long story short they were not opened cost me a job. And a heck of a lot of money for other means of transport the next day. I was only late 20 minutes. DO NOT DEPEND ON THERE EMPTY PROMISES.
