Larry is a gem, just need to say that off the top. Answers the phone in a friendly manner and is incredibly personable. Dropped me back off at the hotel where I was staying afterwards too. It's people who like helping people that really make the business, and as someone who teaches customer service, I sure enjoyed working with Larry. Well done Discount!

Very friendly. Be aware you need to return the vehicle at exactly the same time. Otherwise they charge an extra day.

The discount Drayton Valley location had Horrible service and even worse vehicles. I was given a 2018 dodge 2500 pickup with 3000 km. The truck had no working 4x4 when I picked it (they claim it was working but clearly did not check this before I left) I was unable to get into work sites because of this issue. As I was on my way home from work on the first day - the exhaust started smoking blue/white smoke and straight oil/gas came out. Third party FCA was able to tow the truck to a dodge service shop in Whitecourt (FCA is the company which provides vehicles to Discount is my understanding). Discount was unable to provide another vehicle or transport from Whitecourt to home in Drayton Valley. I was even unable to get a hold of any local Drayton discount employees, only the after hours reservations line who told me they are unable to help me and no other departments are open until Tuesday after the long weekend. There were no local numbers or managers contact they could give me. The following Saturday after several hours of arguing on the phone with the only available service number for Discount, they were able to get me in contact with Larry from Discount Drayton. When I met with Larry he was asking for an additional deposit for the new truck as well as implied that the 4 wheel drive was working and that I was wrong in saying that it wasn’t working. He also said that he cannot refund my deposit on the broken truck after saying that it could have potentially been me that caused the damage to the trucks 4 wheel drive which Never worked and engine that had also stopped working. Larry was also Unable to provide me with another vehicle without a payment from my visa. He called his manager who also said they would need a payment before they could release me a replacement vehicle which shows you that this poor service is right into upper management.
