It was my first time renting from Sixt and I must say I was very impressed. Why would anybody rent from Budget, Avis or any of the other big box names anymore? You can get a BMW for the same price as a Chevy Malibu, with unlimited miles. The employees at Sixt are top notch with big smiles and wonderful customer service. I highly recommend using Sixt if they rent in your area!

I'm a Hertz whatever member. I was drawn to Sixt based on price, which is good. That said, the friendliness of the staff, quality and selection, and relative ease of getting a car while waiting in a line (albeit a short one) trumps the Hertz power up points I have

I've had such a great experience that I had to share with as many people as possible. Sixt has got a customer for life. My boyfriend and I were stuck in Phoenix due to the originally company we booked our rental car in advance had been overbooked and ran out of cars. We were told we would have to wait at least 30 minutes to get a car (even though there were at least 40 other people waiting). On a whim, I saw the booth for Sixt, which I have never used before but they had great reviews so I thought I would try to see if they had a car available since we needed to get on the road as soon as possible. The gentleman at the desk, Adam, was more than accommodating while providing us with excellent customer service. I explained our situation and he went out of his way to figure something out for my boyfriend and I. He was able to put us in a perfect size car for what we needed right then at a great cost. Since I have worked with many car rental companies in the past due to working with travel bookings for clients, I have never had a more helpful or simple experience as this one. I am so thankful for this company and for Adam's service. I will definitely be recommending this company to everyone I know.

I’ve used this company all throughout Europe, and every time I fly I to LAX. Really used to love them. I picked up a car at their AZ location. They didn’t have the Mercedes I booked and called a Volvo it’s equivalent. After inspecting the car, I left the airport. I small crack started up the windshield from underneath the wipers into the black tinted area of the windshield. There’s no way I could have seen this during inspection. I let them know and the girl I returned it to informed me that it may be waived due to the nature of it. She agreed it could’ve been from the previous renter. I called Visa and they said they couldn’t start a claim until they had a claim number. Sixt put it into claims investigation and by the time they got my claim number to me, Visa denied it saying it was out of their window of coverage. My personal insurance covered all but my deductible and I was left paying $640. I tried to work it out with third department and got sass from their unprofessional claims lady. Professionalism is NOT cutting people off when they’re asking questions and hearing someone out. I travel a lot and the $640 they received from me is a fraction of the money they could’ve made from my rentals in the future. I will spread the word to all my friends who travel for business as well. Poor ethics and business practice.
