My favourite place too rent from! Mike is my fave employee! Mellow & takes care of me everytime! If I have an issue I email the customer care and talk to Management about any issues.

Car was fine, customer service is trying to create the opportunity to up-charge you wherever possible. If renting with them be assertive and particular, and ask for every piece of documentation you can get. My experience: They tried to make our booking start 15 minutes earlier because we had showed up a bit earlier to fill out paperwork. Fortunately, the employee forgot to change the time stamp on the agreement, so it was 4:30 after all. We were also told there is a 30 minute grace period upon return. Then he tried to have us sign for the walk around inspection before we had even seen the car citing that it would be "difficult to sign the paper outside" (?!?!). We demanded that we sign after inspecting and got him to agree to this after some resistance. Upon return of the vehicle at about 4:32 (just a couple minutes into the grace period, anyways) I stupidly did not ask for a receipt and trusted the word of the employee who received the keys and did a walk around. He said it was "all good" and that I was "good to go." A couple days later I am checking my credit card statement and there are about $70 more in fees. I call and learn that I have been billed for an extra day. I got furious about this over the phone and she said they would fix it but I have my doubts as she kind of hung up on me.

This is the Worst car rental ever. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM NATIONAL CAR unless you want to get ripped off. I had a really bad experience with national car rental they charged me 341$ without my knowledge they said the car had small windshield chip while in my possession( which is a lie ) I drove the car for a total of 20 min ( grocery store and home) while my car was being serviced at Mercedes dealership ( I could have just walked home actually).I would have understood if I had driven the car for 2 or 3 days out of town in the rain but I know It’s just bad business practice and I did not expect it from a “reputable” company. they said they did a “research”( another lie). they should have at least explained to me and show me all of the paperwork and let me know how they determined the amount I have to pay. they were more concerned with taking my money as soon as possible. I should have known when I got there the car had so many scratches and I only focused on scratches I am not car inspection expert things that are small or light are very hard to find. I dont even think they deserve one star

Lowered to 1 star after they found a scratch that cost just under $1000 to fix. My advice is to take photos of the car during both inspections. I wish I had. BE CAREFUL.

Car truck rentel the staff is great thier in side of arbutus inn on the far right closes to the window is thier desk. Great pricing. Theyll pick you up from dealership from being fixed if you needed a car to rent for a week or longer. They are there to pick up you and drop you off when that time comes too
