Negative experience unfortunately. Wouldn't accept our Australian cards as payment - even though every other rental company to date has. Was a standard Australian Mastercard. Very unhelpful and had a "didn't care, not our problem" kind of attitude. Went up the road to another car rental service instead and received outstanding service.

This is the Worst car rental ever. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM NATIONAL CAR unless you want to get ripped off. I had a really bad experience with national car rental they charged me 341$ without my knowledge they said the car had small windshield chip while in my possession( which is a lie ) I drove the car for a total of 20 min ( grocery store and home) while my car was being serviced at Mercedes dealership ( I could have just walked home actually).I would have understood if I had driven the car for 2 or 3 days out of town in the rain but I know It’s just bad business practice and I did not expect it from a “reputable” company. they said they did a “research”( another lie). they should have at least explained to me and show me all of the paperwork and let me know how they determined the amount I have to pay. they were more concerned with taking my money as soon as possible. I should have known when I got there the car had so many scratches and I only focused on scratches I am not car inspection expert things that are small or light are very hard to find. I dont even think they deserve one star

Really accommodating, quick and helped me get a rental within 10 minutes. I was treated with understanding and reasonability from Mike and another staff member who didn’t waste any time on usual bureaucratic policies. Would definitely recommend going here, especially cus they hooked me up with a brand new Hyundai perfect for my needs 😎

We rented a car for just a day from them. They had us signed the inspection paper before the actual inspection. When we were doing the inspection, we called out what we found and he kept saying ok, got it....... but no one knows if he really marked on the paper. They didn’t even give us a chance to check if he got everything. And then of course they find “something” when we returned the car. We were very certain that nothing happened to this car that could cause those damages. But they insisted that it must be us. After all that argument, they found that those are previous damages which has been shown on previous reports. This is ridiculous because, first of all, who knows what you have missed marking; second, we needed to sign the paper before we even know what you are going to write on it, and when this happened, they said ” well, you signed on this inspection paper, so now everything that we find is on you if we can not find those damages on previous reports”; thirdly, the guy who was inspecting wasn’t even that careful when we were going to rent the car and and they were very serious when we return it and if we or he missed any of the previous damages, it is all on us. What if they missed those damages every time until now if they are so careless; fourthly, they just assumed that we made those damages when they haven’t even checked anything. They should have inspected the car based on the previous reports that they have, just incase any little things are missed. After all, we are not experts in car inspections, things that are small or light are very hard to find. Just because we couldn’t see those when we rented that doesn’t mean that we are responsible for it. They need to change how they do business!
