The people are nice enough however the wait to get a rental through ICBC was way to difficult. After calling 4 times, repeatedly forgetting to send a vehicle, the 5th time was successful after a wait of 45 minutes. The employees don't seem to communicate with each other as my initial 4 requests were not known by anybody other than the employee who “forgot”. Upon returning the car, the person I spoked to tried to blame me for a number of blemishes and a tiny dent that I pointed out before leaving initially but no one wrote down. He was also very entitled and condescending. He had the audacity to say “you’re off the hook this time”. I would never recommend renting from Hertz and most definitely not this branch. Update After talking with the shop that did my repairs, the Hertz manager said he would “make it right” however I have heard nothing for almost a month so Hertz must have forgotten as per their usual.

I was running late and in a rush to get to a meeting and let them know when picking up my vehicle. In and out in around 5 minutes. Nice work Hertz.

Horrible service, have dropped the car on the same day rented and I have been charged for 2 days!!!! Called them and they admitted it t be a mistake and a refund will be made in 5 business days, yet after 10 days n refund has been made!

Worst experience with car rental ever! We arrived and a nice service agent immediately ask us of we were picking up a car, we started handing over our details and he began to set up the contract- so far everything as it should be. Then he got up and spoke to another guy (probably the supervisor) who then said something about “not this car..”, “one month rental...” Both returned to the desk and nobody spoke to us. We had to ask what the matter was and the supervisor ignored us more or less. He did a phone call and then answered that we will have to rent at another branch only 5 minutes from this branch because there is no car for us. We had to ask again how we get to the branch, someone will drive us he told us. Then he asked us to take a picture of the computer screen to show it to the other branch (to ensure the price) how unprofessional...he told us that there is a car for us and everything is no problem. The guy in charge for cleaning the car (the only one trying to explain the situation to us why there is no car) drove us to the other branch which turned out to be an Avis and not a Hertz branch. Nobody mentioned that before...so weird. So we end up at Avis who gives us a car but the wrong category - he downgraded us to a smaller car because that’s what he agreed on with the supervisor from Hertz!? First they don’t have a car for us and then they fix one with the competitor but a smaller one? Great customer service.. because we were in a hurry and had no time for big arguments we ended up paying more to Avis to get the category we originally booked with Hertz. The most funny part of the story is that they drove us to the Avis branch with a car of the category we had booked but yeah right they didn’t have a car for us. Customer orientation and communication skills of the Hertz supervisor equals null! The only positive thing was the nice driver from Hertz!
