This is shady business! They charged me 3rd party liability insurance even though this insurance is not mandatory in BC. They took $500 deposit for mid size car which is not in line with other established rent-a-car companies. In the end CSR tried to charge me higher amount on my card (I guess he thought I will not notice). In that moment I decided to cancel reservation. CSR looked like he is used to these situations and he did not even apologize. Later that day they charged me cancellation fee $15 on my credit card without saying a word about cancellation when I was there. Their cancellation policy is vague! Later I went on Yelp to see reviews and there is a bunch of negative reviews under Rent A Car Vancouver (they change names which is also shady!) I dodged a bullet by canceling my reservation. Please don't do any business with this scam company. I cannot believe they are allowed to do business in DT Vancouver.
