Great car, clean. Also great customer service.

I got a tiny rock chip in one of my rental cars (if you drive in Montana you’ll get rock chips), and Hertz charged me $165 to get it sealed. Enterprise does that for free. Also, they always made me pay to park my personal car, when enterprise let me park in empty spots. If you wanna get treated poorly, go to Hertz. If you want to be treated like human, hit up Enterprise.

Nice cars. Quick service.

Went to rent a car and even though it was prepaid they didn’t accept a bank card to put on file! So we ended up leaving with no vehicle.

An absolute nightmare start to finish. I had to adjust my travel dates and wanted to add an additional day at the start of my trip, the only way they would do it was to change the rate for the entire rental from $25/day to $75/day. Came back to drop off the car after hours and accidentally left my wallet and cell phone in the trunk. My friend had already gone ahead to drop the keys. Spoke to airport police who said that the Hertz office here had little to no contact with airport administration or security and they were the only one that they had no access to lockbox or way to contact anyone with Hertz. Called Hertz emergency roadside assistance and they refused to send emergency service because car was at the airport and keys had been dropped. Ended up missing my flight and having to reschedule. Apparently it's a somewhat regular problem because I spoke with one of the airline staff (unfortunately after I already missed my flight) who said they actually had a hook to try and fish keys out of the box for other passengers who'd had the same issue.
