There are not enough words to thank the owner for everything she did for us this weekend. She went above and beyond to ensure that we got home safely after the total write-off of our motorhome this weekend. She not only fought with our insurance company to get us more than we expected, but she even drove us all the way home to Edmonton. How's that for service?? Great company - Great people. Thank-you.

Lori and staff are some of the most helpful caring people I have come across at a car rental counter. They efficiently have everything ready on your arrival, and get you out the door and on your way in the shortest amount of time possible. The car was clean and the gas tank was full! Thanks Practicar for your efficiency and friendliness! Five Stars is an under rating!

Fernie rent-a-wreck, Amazing execution and service for us in a difficult area to figure out car rentals. We’re from the Bay Area, (California) and booked an ambitious June honeymoon. The plan was to backpack in Glacier Nat. Park, stay in some lodges in-between backcountry sections, and eventually hike into Waterton, CA and arrive at the Prince-of-Wales Hotel, continuing onto Banff, and Lake Louise. Where, at this point we needed a car. After exhausting all efforts to find ANY kind of method to get a rental car in the Waterton area, we somehow found Fernie Rent-a-wreck using Google Maps. The only alternative was paying BIG bucks to hire a cab (if willing) to take us to a bus station or even further to a larger city the big name car rental companies were wiling to deliver to, or somehow get to Calgary airport. This would have knocked out at least one entire precious day/night of our trip. Lori and Fernie Rent-a-Wreck easily agreed to deliver the car to the hotel for a reasonable fee, and allow us to drop it off at the airport for a larger (but still fair fee), not uncommon for dropping a rental off in a different city then you pick it up in. So in short AMAZING! We pulled off the hike, boat ride across the lake into Canada, and one last push up to the hotel. Nailing this part of the trip and getting the car really made it magical. Lori even arranged a full spread picnic in a cooler for us to travel with the next day to Banff. What seemed like a long dull travel day was easily one of highlights of the honeymoon. While driving the magical route via hwy 40, we got great photos of bears and mtn goats all from the safety of our car. The food was so good! …and robust, we even used it as leftovers/hors d’overs the next couple days. Amazing picnic spread AND presentation. The continental divide is a true overlooked gem in my part of the states, as a resident of Northern California, dealing the with summer crowds of Yosemite/Tahoe/and the Sierras travel to Alberta and Glacier Nat. Park is a breeze by comparison. All-time epic trip! Thank you Practicar for making the Canada part possible! -Mike and Jennifer Murray
