Staff is great with wonderful customer service. However, I requested a car with winter tires and they didn't have any cars with winter tires. The car I received was clean and damage free. I strongly believe in having winter tires when driving in the North. It was winter when I rented the vehicle and the stock tires were useless on the icy roads and on the highways. For some reason, they believe that driving a 4 wheel drive is all one needs to navigate in snow and ice. Although traction is much better when accelerating from a stop, 4 wheel drives does very little to help you stop on icy snow packed roads. I slid through a couple of intersections and almost slid off the highway while driving this rental car. The roads were not maintained very well and no sand was used on ice covered intersections or on the high ways. Winter tires is an IMPORTANT SAFETY feature and the lack of this option resulted in my lower rating of this review.

I was in Thompson last week, rented a car at the airport location. The staff were so friendly, and my car was running & warm upon my arrival! It was awesome! Highly recommend U-Drive!
