Rented a car this past long weekend to see what is around the Moncton area. Greeted by a couple of very friendly guys working the counter. Had no problem answering a couple questions and offering some good places to check out. Thanks a lot guys! Made for a fun weekend. Will definitely come back next month for another rental! Cheers.

Nice experience for first-time car -rental pe rain🏞️

I usually never write reviews, but the service i received was horrible, and I felt the need to write one. The service at the counter was fine, we were renting a 2018 Jeep Renegade, only 9000km on it. We denied the collision insurance, which was the only insurance mentionned or offered. After 15mins of driving on the highway, getting into Shediac, NB, the engine started shaking, engine lights came on, etc. After calling Budget, they would first refuse to do anything because I did not get the "Roadside Assistance Insurance". I was told to pay for the towing to bring the vehicle back to the rental location. And then I would have to rent another vehicle. I was also told I may be charged for the repairs that had to be done to the vehicle. After 1h back and forth between operators, i finally called Costco Travel (booking agent) then I finally got a return call from budget asking me to leave my 4 passengers in Shediac, come back with the towing to Moncton, then I would drive back to get my passengers in Shediac. Ridiculous, especially considering this was a vacation with planned activities (which we had to cancel because of the broken car) and it was raining out. After 4hrs, the towing finally arrived with a vehicle on it and the swap was made, which should've been solution #1 in the first place. No compensation was given for this frustrating event, and the staff was not very cooperative or apologetic. Will not use Budget ever again.

Horrible service and probably more expensive than anywhere else and absolutely dirty, the car they gave me was dirty the cup holder's were not washed i ended up washing them myself, and the window for the sunroof was almost black in some places probably had never been wash. when i advised the person at the counter he said oh well and shrug it off as being nothing even after i showed him the window. never offers a discount or even to clean it or even said sorry. will never go back again and advised people not to go.
