I rent a few times a year from the Halifax Airport and I have to say I think all of the Alamo reps are great. Cars are clean, gassed up and if one is not available an alternate in a higher class is always offered. They are fast and efficient on pick up and return. I have rented at other Alamos in the states and Quebec and not found the same results so I just have to tag the Halifax crew and say it is always a pleasure!

when I picked the car up they were very slow at the counter. One of the ladies at the counter appeared to not even want to be at work. Very slow and disinterested in the customers. Also they didn’t have the vehicle style I reserved two months earlier which was a full size premium. The return process was excellent though so I left on a positive note. We were in quick and on our flight on time.

great display of customer service! Back in July I got screwed around by Hertz at the airport and these guys felt so bad for us they switched some things around, got us a car so we could go enjoy our vacation and they did it all with a smile, something I will never forgot and anytime I need a rental in Halifax I will be going here! ! 10/10 would recommend

Everything was good except for the following: a) I completed the 'Check in' thinking I would go to the kiosk to pick up the car only to find I had to go to the counter - which was not staffed (at around 10 am) and stand in a long line up at National. b) I did not receive the vehicle I had booked and was not offered any one in the category I rented. c) Return was not staffed at 9 pm. Returned keys to the 'Drop off Box'.

Great People - easy check in. I had reserved my car a couple of months in advance, and did the web check-in the day before. On arrival at the rental counter - PRESTO - EASY PEAZY - in and out in a flash. Good Job Alamo.
