I always book a full size car, every time at the time of pick up Avis put me for a compact car. When I ask to switch the answer is no other cars available. If you don’t have full size cars available you should least inform in advance rather than giving whatever is available.

My flight to YFC was set to land at 8pm, so that's when I told Avis I'd be picking up my car. Then, my flight got cancelled. I got re-booked for a later flight set to land at midnight (around the time Avis closes). I called ahead to let Avis know. Then, my re-booked flight got stuck on the tarmac and was delayed by an hour - but I couldn't call Avis to tell them about this new delay, since my phone had to be in airplane mode. Lucky for me, Judi was working the Avis desk that night. My flight didn't land until close to 1am, but she stayed open just for me. She was so pleasant when I finally got there, despite having to stay at work an extra hour on my behalf. Couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating. Judi, you don't even know how much easier you made my trip - thank you!!!
