I wanted to rent a Premium sedan, but when I got there they said they didn't have any and gave me two choices. A normal sized sedan or SUV. I don't like SUV's and therefore had no choice and had to take the sedan that had no options. I asked why they didn't inform me that they didn't have the car I ordered and they said they tried, but I had no phone number in their system. I was surprised to hear that and checked and I do have a phone number, and even if I didn't they could have emailed me. Plus they don't even give you a full tank of gas. They just tell you to bring it back to about the same level. So you then have to estimate how much gas to put in to reach that level. Makes no sense.
There are very few rental car companies in the area as convenient as Enterprise which is sad because this company can do what ever they want. This same company owns National Rental car which is just as bad. I am in the Emerald Executive Elite program and i can tell you this is a joke. There is really no difference in the cars between Emerald and Executive. One time I asked what was the difference between the Nissan Altima in the Emerald isle, and Altima in the Executive isle (thinking there may be better options) and the Representative said they are the same. At one time they used to put a few nicer cars out to rent but not any more. Now you get what they give you and the selection is terrible. Don't listen to their ads on TV . Yes you can choose the car you want, but the selection is poor. Total marketing gimmick.
