Rental car was ready to go and every aspect was so well organized I was on my way in minutes. It was appreciated to have a well lit area to do the inspection. Finally, having a customer service person steps away in the booth was extra convenient when I had a question.

2 stars as customer service was good on the drop off but no more as I was not offered winter tires , and silly me, I assumed the Ford Taurus already had them. I was told I should have asked for winter tires...Wow, we are in Canada folks, this is quite natural to be equipped for Winter. Also, car did not have a manual booklet so I had a hard time finding what I needed.

We left a backpack in the rental car before hours and threw keys in the drop box. We only realized bag was missing at security checkin. I called and left a message, I called again when we had a layover and Alison made certain the bag was given to our daughter on a later flight. Alison was efficient, caring and went above and beyond. Halifax national car rental was great!. Thank you!

I had made 2 separate reservations for a total of 11 days. Reservation #1 was using airmiles and reservation #2 was using free days. Even though i called in 3 times to both the 800# and the local Halifax Office and also spoke to the counter agent when picking up the car that i was not bringing the car back in the middle of my trip they all said OK but call on the day of the reservation change. I did call but could only leave a voicemail at the Halifax desk, then the next day received an email asking when i would would returning my rental then a phone call. after a lengthy recap of all of my attempts to make my two reservations continuous all was good, it would just be better if the staff could check notes on reservations?

Very familiar with location. OK rental experience. Requested premium vehicle expected Chrysler 300 or similar. Ford Taurus I had to take wasn't large enough for 5 adults
