Its crazy when your in line and hear what people say to the employees...a lady was infront of me and want want want.... She ordered a small car and wanted an upgrade... I loved that the young lady at the desk was professional and I returned my car in no time

Reserved a moving truck online for pick up at this location. I walk in, there’s barely any budget signage and so I walk up to the Avis desk. I waited and waited until the worker looked up from her computer, asked for my reserved moving truck, and was informed “yeah we don’t do trucks”. When I proceeded to ask how that’s possible when I reserved one online she was incredibly unhelpful and told me to call the 1-800 number. I asked again if she could call and help me sort it out, find a nearby rental and again received no help as she stated “nah they want to hear from you.” Save your time and go to the Penske a mile away. SO helpful and friendly and helped me in a pinch.

The worst experience! Customer service is horrible. No one wanted to even help solve the problem quoted me one price $ from 1-800 budget customer service, drove there went to rent vehicle it was totally not even close to what I was quoted!! 1800 customer service is absolutely horrendous! They don’t even speak enough English to understand what their saying all wrong information!! Wasted 2 hours on the phone to be told I don’t see anything entered in the computer!! Yes probably because you don’t know how to do your job!! Stay away from budget!!

Horrible experience with this Budget rental location. I made a reservation online with a pick up time of 1230pm. I paid an Uber to get me there for pick up. Once I got there I was told that there were no cars available. A gentleman 15 minutes later came into the store and had a reservation pick up for 100pm and there was a car. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was not available. I asked when he would be and was told "around this time next week." I asked for the name of the manager and the rep hesitantly told me "Jonathan" and gave me her name as "Jennifer." I asked for the store's ID number to make a complaint of how rude and dismissive she was being and she just pointed at the sign with a telephone number on it. I called it right then and there and her front desk # rang in which she answered. I legit could have imploded! I got the actual number for customer service and spoke to a "Joe" #96044 who helped me make another reservation at another location in WPB and said I would receive a credit of my Uber ride amount, a discount off the rental, and a free upgrade and I wouldn't have to provide them with anything as it would be noted in the system. I asked for the District Managers contact info to send an email about my terrible experience. Joe said he was sending it for me. So I get to the WPB location and no discount, no free upgrade, and no credit. I call back and I'm on hold with the most obnoxious and unhelpful rep on the phone. Never again. And please save the automated response to contact this bullsh*t company at that email address to address this further. Best believe I'm contacting Budget to make this right for wasting my time and money. Budget does not respect the consumer. There has to be a better system of making a reservation online with a time for pickup at a specified location for there to be nothing waiting there. The reviews this place has with 5 stars has to fake and/or paid for.

This is the first time I rented a vehicle. I picked it up in Newark and they tried to charge me a higher price despite my having a reservation for a different price. No one informed me of a drop off fee until I returned the vehicle to a different location and much to my surprise I was charge a fee that exceeded the rental of this vehicle. I will never rent a car from Budget again. The different location drop off charge should be disclosed to the customer at the time of rental.
