No one at the desk at vehicle return. Waited for 45 minutes. Nope! Called back two days later...no answer. Good luck. PS. The lady called back shortly after I posted...so all is not bad.

The staff I dealt with at the Deer lake airport were wonderful and competent. After reading the last review only days before my own trip, I phoned ahead to verify that everything was in order and it was. There was a discrepancy between my initial booking total and the amount owing on my "reminder email" but the agents at Deer Lake had it all sorted out by the time I returned my vehicle. Don't bother calling the customer service at the 1-800 number, they're completely useless and that's an hour of my life I'll never get back, but the staff at YDF are great and will take care of you. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ!!!!!!!! I flew from Edm to Deer Lake, 10 hours in the air, go to pickup my car, and they tell me they don't have any, and wont for 3 more days!, here I am in the middle of no where, they wont do anything for me, wont put me in a cab, wont rent you a car at another rental agency. The family behind me, told the same thing, we both had reserved 4 months in Advance. Do not trust them, do not give them 1 penny of your money, I wish I could give them 0 stars.

I returned a car to this location, and as I was waiting for my flight to depart, I couldn’t remember if I’d taken something out of the car. They went to check for me and sure enough I did. They brought it to me at the airport cafe with a smile. Thank you!
