I would like to bring attention to management regarding one employee name Mat, I would like to bring attention to customers about him, please never ever trust this guy, I called and booked vehicle for three days, then went to location to pick up the car within 15 minutes ,, he suddenly changed and increased the price, then didn't like to say why, he is a filthy liar, when I said could I speak to your manager or Vicky then this liar said sorry we don't have a vehicle right now,but there were so many vehicles were parked at back parking lot we know Avis is best companies that's why we like to go Avis but building customers take years, some stupid ignorant people destroy it in second but it will never ever able to fix again, I will never ever go to this place not because of Avis because of this employee,, Management should definitely monitor this Guy, please put recording his phone conversation, then your guys will figure out his double face actually other companies do, please put some one who knows willing to work with excellent customer service,,Thank you

This location in conjunction with the Discount down the road gave me a terrible experience. Like a lot of other reviews mentioned, they like to speak in a different language to each other while dealing with customers. I gave them two stars instead of one because they do have one employee (the young man with the glasses) that knows the job and deals with people properly. Also when I was returning my vehicle there as a women vacationing from Vancouver and her company booked her a car at their company rate but they were giving her a hard time because she didn’t have any company ID, and once again talking to each other in a different language. I thought that was kind of ridiculous and could’ve been handled better. I would’ve said something but I was just glad to not be dealing with them again.

Worst avis. If I could give this location 0, I definitely would. Absolutely terrible customer service. I rented a car from Toronto Pearson airport and returned it 5 hours later to this location. I was driving the entire day, and hadn't parked anywhere. The employee at Pearson airport said the car was clean and no damage. When I get to this Scarborough location to return the vehicle, the employee proceeds to tell me that I have to pay for the damage on the car and refused to listen to anything I said. Extremely rude employee, walked away while I was talking, and threatened that the bill will be Sent to me in the mail. I asked for his name multiple times and he refused to give me his name. I have always rented all my cars from avis, whether it be in Canada or USA. I will never rent from avis again following this incident.

I bumped on this location after calling multiple other providers who couldn't get me a car on a busy summer weekend. The agent Nathan could get me a vehicle (I wanted a seven seater) however sensing my urgency, quoted a random per day charge which I guess no where relates to the actual per day charge. I am not sure how the prices are governed. I agreed to pay as I was in a bad need for a vehicle. Also, you need to have front desk speaking fluent English and limited local language discussion between the staffs will make the customer feel comfortable.
