My first time renting from National, and I can say I've had a great rental experience! It was easy to checkout, I ran into no issues, and it's straight forward! When I had little notice to fly home, I needed to rent a car within 24 hours. Sadly, there weren't any car rentals with available cars until I came across National! I will definitely use National next time as my go-to car rental!

We had to wait to obtain a larger vehicle after arrival; however, we ended up with a very nice vehicle after wait. It was apparently rush hour for people arriving on flights. Vehicles turn over quickly and I had to aggressively pick one when available. Staff were nice and professional. I would definitely rent from National again. Just have to be quick with the pick!

I enjoyed the thought of an easy pick up and go. But it took roughly 45 minutes to get a Luxury class vehicle since none were actually ready for use. The manager Peggy was very concerned and continuously kept me updated on the status. The location is combined with Alamo which from the look of the building is kind of deceiving. But overall I enjoyed the car and ease of drop off.

I travel for work and had a car for 4 days. I live where Hurricane Michael was striking and my flight home was canceled. I called National to add an extra day and they were going to charge me an extra $300 for one day. After finding out why - a 4 day rental is considered "daily" at $40/day. When i add a day, it moves me to 5 which means it's a weekly rental rate at $98/day. There is a hurricane! How can i help that? The only solution i was given is to drive 45 miles back to the airport to check the car in and back out. I talked with TWO National reps and this was my only option. When i arrived, the nice gentleman checking me in said they could have done that in their computer and i didn't need to come all the way there. So TWO other people couldn't suggest that? I turned in the car and walked across the street and rented from someone else. Seriously, i can't believe how careless they are to their customers. As if a hurricane hitting my hometown wasn't enough! Like i said, i travel for work monthly and National will not be where i rent from.

Cars are great and they have a good selection, just keep an eye out for the fuel charge. Rented every week for 5 years and drive an average of 70 miles. They usually charge me for about 10 gallons. If I ask they apologize. I think it's their way off making additional revenue.
