Got in an accident and luckily insurance was willing to cover a rental vehicle for a certain amount of time. So I rented a vehicle here. The agreement was that I would receive the same rate as the insurance company if their coverage expired. It took a little longer to buy a new car than expected and I had to continue working at the same time, so suffice to say I was very busy. A representative of the company called me and informed me that my coverage had ended and that I needed to come in to pay up front for my rental now that the insurance coverage was finished. They had my credit card information already and for convenience sake I asked them to just charge it rather than taking time off work to go out of my way to drop by the store. They said that wasn't possible for some unexplained reason. So I said I would drop in whenever I had a chance. A few days later I have the police calling me about the car and I find out that they had charged my credit card anyway (even though they said it wasn't how they did things) and the amount they charged was approximately 5 times the agreed amount($1450 instead of approx. $300) I will never rent a vehicle from this company again and they can have their car back early because this is the lowest, and frankly most absurd, form of service I have received in as far back as I can remember right now. Try another rental company.

Worst experience ever. I rented a car on my insurance claim while my vehicle was in for body work.. I was confused as to why they asked what sort of vehicle i own . Becauae I drive a Toyota Tacoma 2011 They gave me a large expensive vehicle ...GMC Yukon at 51.00 a day. My insurance company inforned me that i was capped at $900 for the rental and maybe I should consider renting something more economical should my repair take longer. I called discount to trade down and was given a song and dance ....that my insurance authorised me at $51 per day and even if i went economy would still be charged 51 a day. When i told them it was my insurance company that suggested i rent something cheaper so i woulnt have to pay anything over the 900 cap should my repairs take longer, They said I was charged more becauae they were not a prefered company with my insurance. Hmmph guess they dont want me as a customer. EVER!! I Took the high priced vehicle back and went elsewhere. What a scam...charging me more cause it was through insurance ...SCAM! NEVER HEARD OF SUCH AN ABSURD THING
