In the end, I was very happy but it could have been bad. I booked online a few days prior, and was called the morning of pickup being told they wouldn't have a vehicle for me. I ended up calling back later, trying to figure something out even if it was a cube van instead of a little car. It seemed like the person I was speaking to just took it as their personal mission to help me, and they ended up bringing a car in from Kingston for me. They also picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. I feel bad for people who weren't able to get a car, but in my case they did, and the people working there were great, so thank you very much for the great service.

Reserved a pickup truck online to move several large items. A few days before the rental, Discount called saying that they had no trucks available and would not be able to honour the reservation. The other options in Belleville (Avis, UHaul) didn't either, so I had to rearrange things through Toronto. Two stars because they at least gave enough notice to make alternate plans.

If I could give them a zero, I would but unfortunately google doesn't allow that. Due to Farhats customer service, more of a negative 5. I booked my moving truck 3 weeks in advance online with a pickup in Belleville and drop off in Ottawa (the 1 way move.) I showed up to pick it up moving day and was told they dont have a truck for me. I show my confirmation and Farhat blatenly denies they a) dont have 1 way service and if they do it would be like $1000 - quote directly from her - (they do - head office confirmed this!) b) that they dont have any trucks for me even though I reserved one c) if i want to take it i have to come back to belleville with it by 10AM the next morning. What a complete joke. I then have to scramble over to UHAUL to pay double the price of my rental. Farhat was absolutely the worst person I have ever dealt with in customer service. She argued with me, told me I was wrong and fed lies to me from a company mistake. She did not try to fix it. Head office says they will be speaking to her. She then has to deal with me after my head office complaint and offers me a free rental. Complete joke. If i ever rented a car, I sure wouldnt be doing through Discount EVER. Still waiting for my $250 refund after I escalated my complaints again. Honestly, DO NOT GO TO DISCOUNT BELLEVILLE. You will be treated like a piece of s***.
