DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
The fact that myself and at least 20 other customers didn't actually get a rental car will inform most of this review... I had booked a car for my girlfriend's birthday, the rental company was located off airport and a shuttle bus was meant to pick us up and take us to the rental company. After waiting an extra 30 minutes, and not being able to connect with anybody in the office we decided to take a taxi to the office. When we arrived we were met with around 20 people, some of whom had already been waiting for longer than an hour. We were told that they had no cars available for any of these people and every time we tried to talk to a member of staff from discount cars, they were dismissive, rude, and walked away from us quickly. They didn't seem to care at all about the customers they were letting down and refused to take any responsibility. When my girlfriend phoned ace cars to try and rectify the situation, she was told by a customer service representative that it was nothing to do with them and that discount cars needed to sort it, before hanging up on her. Despite having a reservation confirmation number, we waited for over an hour, I had to cancel the plans I had made for my girlfriend's birthday, and we left with no car and having to get an uber home. The shuttle bus didn't leave the parking lot the entire time, we saw others arriving via taxi and when we demanded that they return us to the airport, one member of staff told us to go and ask the nearby hotel if they had a shuttle bus we could use. Absolutely awful service, a ruined birthday and not one apology from anyone. The deposit has not been returned and because we had to cancel the plans we had we also lost that deposit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
