Very wonderful staff, I was sent up in a rental through Chrysler while my truck was repaired. The staff was great, I have used other companies through my insurance before and was a hassle but I would use carters again and recommend them. Great job guys. Thank you

First time renting in Canada and was nervous as you hear so many horror stories but we had a trouble free experience from beginning to end aided by friendly, professional staff. Not a huge fleet but it’s not every company you get to rent a Jeep Wrangler from, either! Would definitely use again next time.

Apparently you are unable to rent a car using another persons credit card even with the person signing there due to "change Of policy " I recently rented here in January and had no problem? I searched on carter website and it clearly states you MAY rent a vehicle with your license and another persons credit card as long as they sign a third party form.

Just make sure you get a signature that you return the car the same way you took it. After settling the contract upon return, many days later they charged me $50 more for a flat tire. That I returned the car flat. How? the person helping me drove the car to their parking lot. No flat. They even accused me of putting air in the tire before returning. (really? are you not open to the concept that you got the flat in your parking lot? Automatically accuse customers?) They never contacted me when I left to tell me this. Did not know about the charge till I got my credit card bill. I was visiting from US - not worth fighting it. Have $50 on me Carter and good luck with your business. [people working at the counter were great though - very friendly and helpful]

I needed a cargo van on Saturday for a few hours. same Usually, I have trouble booking with Carters because of availabilty of cars/trucks. After going to Discount (outrageous price; unavailable trucks) and I went Enterprise. The directed me to an alternate location but I saw a cargo van parked outside and decided to go in and inquire. I was able to book on the spot for $30 with 25 km free (I have my own insurance) with $0.2 per additional km. The booking person was fantastic. I was supposed to return at 3 pm on the same day but was delayed by half an hour. They did not make a fuss. They even did not ask me for gas reciept. I had gone over by 7 km but they did not charge extra for that either.
