I found the staff unable or unwilling to meet my service expectations. The rental inventory was almost zero. The added hassle of the ferry isn’t worth it. Next time I plan to rent downtown at in-house hotel agency .. checked and lower cost by 10-20%. This particular visit resulted in me dropping Hertz gold In favor of their many worthy competitors.

Check in staff was very courteous despite my arriving earlier than expected.

I've been to the Hertz at Billy Bishop 5 or 6 times in the last few months. The customer service has always been wonderful. They are always friendly and quick to process my reservation. Specifically, Raj is always welcoming with a big smile and quick to help more junior members of his team! You do have to wait for a ferry but that has no impact on my feelings of the Hertz team. -Kristen

Got off my plane and went to the counter only to be told by the person behind the counter that my car wasn't available (and that no cars would be available for the next 1.5 hours). I had travelled by plane for a public speaking engagement two hours away. I couldn't sit and wait the 1.5 hours--especially since there was no promise of a car any time soon. The person at the counter dryly told me to leave the airport, go down the street to National or Enterprise. The seemed to simply want to get rid of me! When I checked with these companies, they had nothing. The person from Enterprise called around for me. There were absolutely no cars available downtown at all. I was left stranded after a long plane flight with no way of getting to my speaking engagement! Thanks Hertz!

Outstanding service and so convenient. The staff went the extra mile and beat Enterprise by 20 dollars. I will use them again.
