The incredibly poor customer service. Both in Toronto and Montreal. I do road trips since more than 15 years and this is my worst car rental experience ever. This is a message to ALL the Canadians dealing with tourists: Tourists are not always criminals or liars. You need to digest that GOOD TOURISTS exist and you should STOP trying to find ways to make extra money, for real. Shameful behavior. I will never use Avis again (in Canada) and I will report this to my Company which is one of your Customer.

Picked up a car for the Labour Day weekend, and had no issues whatsoever. The whole process was a breeze (from booking online on a third party website to completing the transaction at this location). Looks like others might not have had such a pleasant experience but in truth, I'd have to recommend this one based on mine.

Good variety and availability of cars, get upgraded quite frequently. Overall recommend. Cars are parked in garage of SOHO, there could be better signage as to how to get find that section, every time I go there’s someone wandering around not sure where to go.

Terrible service People at the counter seem like they don’t wanna be there. They are not helpful at all. We have been calling different branches constantly for an hour No one answered the phone so far

Terrible customer service. Do not waste your time and precious money at Avis or this location. Unethical business practices of adding hidden fees and trying to upsell you on things you don't even need. On top of that they lie to you just so they can get rid of you as fast as possible. Never going there again.
