We attempted to book a trip to Windsor for a week over Discount car rentals website. The website gave us an estimate over 800$. We gave our number. When the representative called he gave us a new price of 280$. We asked specifically that he double check as the price was much lower than the estimate given on the site. We asked again. He confirmed the price, asked for our credit card info to make a deposit of 50$. All is good A week later we get a call saying they don’t have our credit card information on hand and that the price is 850$. Clearly there is a lot of confusion, so we call discount back to cancel the whole reservation. Apparently, the gentleman who called was from a sister company Ace (we were never notified that they were the actual company booking our trip), and they had it on their files that we needed the car for about 3 weeks. Again, we had confirmed 1 week with the first gentleman that called. When we tried to cancel with discount, they informed us that we somehow had two bookings and we would have to call ace to cancel the second one. And the receptionist was rather rude about the whole thing. Lots of miscommunication, no clarity or apology in the end, and rather inappropriate to have a third party company contacting under the assumption that they were discount car rentals. Needless to say we went with another company.

Good value for a two day rental and upgraded which definitely made my next two days of driving more enjoyable (which can happen by chance based on availability if there is nothing left in the lower tier classes). Wait time was reasonable for check-in and check-out, perhaps averaging 10-15 minutes, on a Wednesday and Friday respectively. Will do business again here.

I have to thank Travis and the crew for being so efficient when I lost my car to a bad accident. He was quick to set up a vehicle in a timely manner and accommodated my request to change vehicles, making sure I was in one I was accustomed to driving. they were patient and understanding and very professional and gave great direction when dealing with insurance. You all are great! Thank you!

Nice experience collecting car. Staff member was friendly and carefully inspected the car highlighting the existing dings/dents. - Car was not very clean. Outside of vehicle had various patches of dirt all over the place. Carpets were full of sand in the back. Inside was generally a dirty place to be. - When dropping the car back, another member of staff pointed out the dent on the hood as if it was new. I explained it was pre-existing and showed him the vehicle inspection from when we collected it. After dropping the car back early I had a call telling me that I would be charged extra for dropping the car back early?!!? I queried this and was then told it was actually OK (I dropped the car back Sunday afternoon instead of Monday morning). I would go here again, based on the experience with the member of staff that gave me the vehicle. He basically made the experience generally good. However, the car should have been cleaner and the drop off process should have been more straightforward.

Busy location, however, Adam, who looked after us, was top-notch. His professionalism, calm demeanour and efficient work made all the difference. We were especially impressed with how meticulously he checked the car before giving it to us.
