Called to tell me the car I reserved was not in and I should confirm before arrival. I called to confirm and was told that there was definitely a car ready for me, but when I arrived they did not have any cars. Extremely frustrating. This company is incompetent.

I work near this location, and have rented several vehicles from them. I've always found Kim to be pleasant, and helpful. Cars were clean, full of gas and ready to go. At times the location is busy, it's a small office so it feels even busier with just a couple of people in it. All in all, I keep going back as I get great service and good cars!

We had booked a car weeks in advance through expedia for our trip out to Niagara Falls for an event we had bought tickets for. After arriving in Toronto, Dollar Rental called and told me that they no longer had a vehicle for us. We are from out of town so this was very invonvienient for us. They told me to make other arrangements, which I felt they should have done. However, I checked with other companies in the area and there were no other cars available, given the short notice. I contacted Dollar Rental again and the Agent said he was going to call their head office and call me back, but we never heard from them again. This was the worst experience with a car rental company! I will never book with Dollar again as they left us stranded with nothing to make up for their error. We had a terrible customer service experience, and they were completely unreliable. I would give them no stars if that was an option.

I rented through a travel website with this Dollar location. Received several confirmation emails including one the morning of my rental pickup date. Arrived at Dollar- my reservation was cancelled. The best answer they could provide was "I don't know why, but maybe the rate they gave you was too low". Phoned the travel website who still had my booking intact. They had no van available even though my reservation was made 2 months in advance. Wouldn't help to phone other locations. No sense of urgency. Don't waste your time. Rent from Budget Enterprise or Alamo.

I made a reservation with my friends for a car the day before. When we arrived, we had to wait 40 minutes to get to know that the system is overbooked and no car is available anymore.. Everyone in the line made a reservation as well and nobody got a car. The manager didn't do anything except saying that we could wait a bit more so eventually(!) there would be a car available in the next hours! NEVER AGAIN!
