I've used them on multiple occasions renting bmw and the mustang, best rates in the city and very accommodating and flexible management. They were willing to go out of their way to accommodate my needs. Definitely recommended.

CREDIT CARD GOT HACKED AND NO CAR RESERVATION!!! This company is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. I was coming to Toronto for the week and needed to book a car to drive to Niagara for a wedding, so I booked 2 months in advance with quick car rental. I received an email saying booking confirmed. A couple of weeks later (after making my reservation online) I received a phone call from my bank saying my credit card had been hacked...not saying they had anything to do with it, but I don't shop online ,ever, and it was conveniently a week after I booked my car rental online. Two months later I showed up to pick up my car in the down town Toronto location at 7 am (which is when the office is suppose to open)..No one was there...by 7:30 I phoned the number on the door only to find out, yet again, conveniently they had no reservation for me. I had the printed email in my hand as proof but they had no car for me. I had to take a $260 cab ride to Niagara falls for the wedding that I almost missed... Something about the whole process seemed fishy....Do not trust this car company!

In short: Unprofessional, Unreliable, Dirty damaged old cars. Quick Car Rental is not a real car rental company, its just some guys with some cars and a website! Renting a car from these guys was a disaster to begin with. No contact desk at the airport - you are required to call them for a "shuttle bus" (picked up in the car given) No specific pick up location - was 30 mins waiting in a crowd outside the airport for a random guy in a car. Then driven to the back parking lot of a nearby hotel. Business was conducted in the corner of the reception of that hotel, which was under renovation. They had no computers or equipment, everything was written on receipt paper and credit card payment was taken at the hotels actual reception desk, very unprofessional (I should have walked away at this point) The condition of the car was very poor, (ordered a Ford Escape, got a Lincoln mkx) it had not been washed, several dents and scatches all over it. The dash board had some constant warning lights for tyre pressure and door opened which beeped constantly when driving. Key fob would not lock the doors it had to be done from inside the car and close the door quickly. Sunroof would open but not close! My brother also rented a car at the same time (ordered a Ford Escape, got a Honda crv) similar condition, dirty with damage. This is where the real un-professionalism comes out! We drove from Niagara falls to Niagara on the lake town a 30 min drive, we stopped for 10 mins and the Honda would not start up, I called the rental place at 2:30pm and asked them to send a mechanic he said it might just be the battery can i get jump leads? I said no i'm not from here I wouldn't know where to get them just send someone please. At 3:50pm I called back for an update, he asked where was I located (I had explained that in the 1st call), he said he'll send someone. At 5pm I called again he said there is a taxi on the way. I asked why is there a taxi coming? The taxi man has jump leads I would have to pay him $20 for the call out. (I almost lost it, i'll leave this explicit part out) At 5:30pm a taxi pulled up, we explained the situation and didn't have to pay him he was kind enough and attempted to start the car but it didn't work. Called back and told them to get a mechanic or a replacement car out here now. At 6:50pm called again, no answer. 7:15 no answer, at 7:25pm he said hes waiting for a replacement car to be returned. I told him this is unacceptable we have been stranded here 5 hours with an 18 month old baby and two elderly parents we need a car now! Several more unanswered calls up to 8:45pm he said someone is on the way, I demanded to know where he was and when he would arrive. His answer was "some time buddy, some time". (fyi Toronto was only 45mins away) At 9:35pm he arrived, after a heated argument (obviously I was in my rights to be annoyed) he hooked up jump leads to the car and eventually got it started and proudly proclaimed "see I know my cars buddy I know my cars". To which I replied - "so you knowingly gave us a defective car with a defective battery"! He then attempted to send us on our way with the Honda, my response was "oh no, we're taking your car, you go home in the Honda" (another argument ensued, we eventually left in his car at 10:10pm). I dont think this is a real car rental company, its just some guys with a couple of cars I doubt they even have most of the fleet they claim. Please avoid using this "company".

I booked a "mid-size late model vehicle" - Dodge Caliber or similar" (taken directly from the Quick website) three months in advance for two weeks in Ontario. I phoned the company on arrival at Toronto International Airport. The guy came fairly quickly to pick me and my wife up, and returned us to their office in the Quality Suites Hotel. Paperwork done, I asked him where the car was and he told me it was the car he picked us up in!! I could not believe what he said. The pick-up car was a compact Honda Hybrid, 16 years old (2010), with >87K. The windshield, glass and interior of the car were dirty, the seats were covered withe crappy car seat covers, the display window on the radio and CD player was cracked and while it turned on, we could not access anything as he did not give me the code. Behind the back seat was an old battery and several ice-scrappers (which he removed when asked). I told the guy this was not what I booked for at $607 (10%) paid previously, showed him my paperwork, and said that I wanted what I booked. Of course there was nothing available! It was this car or no car. We were totally stuck, late in the day, had to be in Barrie, Ontario in a few hours, with unlikely options at other rental companies during the August summer season. I said I would pay him $200 for the two weeks, and we settled on just over $400. I suspect that the vehicle was his private car as there was personal correspondence in the glove-box. Enough said. Quick Car Rental ought to call themselves what they are - "Rent-a Wreck". We were badly mislead with unfair expectations from the Quick website. I'll never go near any such "bargain" companies in future as this experience was my first and I had selected Quick as the best of the four I looked at online. I strongly recommend sticking with legitimate rental companies and pay the bit more required.
