Among all the Avis car rental offices I had been to, this one provides the best customer service. They actually care about customer's needs and tries to help whenever there is an issue. When I need to pick up a car downtown, this is my go-to place.

Expensive! $416 for a 3 day compact rental. I ordered a compact car a week in advance and there were no compact cars when I arrived in the morning. I was 'only' charged compact rate but with gas, a trip to Montreal cost over $500.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are awful and I will be contacting our lawyer regarding what we experienced. We rented a car for a month, and ended up bringing it back about 5 days late... big deal, more money for them. When we arrived, an incredibly rude “lady” (if you’d even call her that) got extremely angry with us about the car being late, even though we had contacted them to let them know we would be late WEEKS BEFORE, AND we were 100% willing to pay. We said we wanted to pay in cash, which she very rudely declined ?????? Who doesn’t take cash ??????????? Then, out of spite she decided to take our credit card and FORCE CHARGE IT causing our card to become overlimit... We are currently working with our bank to dispute the UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD CHARGES, and will definitely be writing a formal complaint to the head office AND speaking with our lawyer. What they did was wrong. The “lady” working at the desk is not only an awful customer service representative but an awful person.... mind you, I would be too if I was 50+ and worked at a car rental desk.
